I live in a apartment that has a real bad hard water problem and killed my last humidifier. We are talking pink slime and brown mineral build up on the humidifier. I filter the crap out of my water now but still worried that it would not be enough and kill another humidifier so I hesitated to buy one, let alone one for a hundred dollars. But my wife begged me and this went on sale so I decided to give it another go. This humidifier beats the crappy one I got from Costco easily. Not only is it quiet compared to my old one, it also works on a decently large living spaces. It has a button to switch between cool or warm mists and turns on and off automatically to save on refills. My living room has a bar that opens to the kitchen and dining room so I had to take that into account when buying this based on square footage so I had the feeling this wouldn't cover it. (over 900 ft²) But I wanted to gauge it first to see if I needed two of these or if I could get away with buy this and one smaller one. (It's rated for only 750 ft²) Honestly it does the job, I set it to 55 and it did just fine by itself. But because of the room sizes it doesn't shut off automatically very often. I like it so far and my wife loves it. We ended up getting another smaller one from the same company for the room for 40 bucks and that one is pretty good too but slightly louder with the water gurgles. Now here is the only negative things I will say. I gave it 5 stars because one, my room exceeds the rated size and it still performs well. It does produce white dust everywhere, I even found it in my bathroom. It likes to cling to plastic objects but can easily be dusted away. But this is due to my hard water and not the product itself. If you have hard water problems like I do, you are going to want to purchase a demineralization cartridge pack to help. Secondly I noticed that the mist direction can be adjusted to point in two different directions. This is sadly poorly designed because the humidifier measurement is most accurate when it is pointed toward the front of the machine. I have a few devices that measure humidity levels in the house and the measurements on the humidifier were wrong when I had it pointed to the sides. Also read all the instructions before using it. There is a lot of DON'T DO this in the manual that I would have missed if my wife didn't point them all out to me. I just wanted to set it up and tossed the manual to the side. I would go over them but there are a lot of things that can destroy the unit so if you don't want to be on the phone with the customer support looking like a fool like I did to my wife for not reading the manual first. Please read the manual. Besides all that stuff its a great humidifier and I am probably going to purchase another one. Just want to wait awhile so my wife stops thinking it was her great idea. Even though it totally was. . . She don't need to know that though.

This humidifier has been with us for 7 years and still runs great. It is easy to fill and the perfect size for our living room. You can set the moisture level to your liking. It is easy to use and makes no noise. The best part is at night the display can be turned off if you like sleeping in complete darkness like I do! Overall great product and I highly recommend it!

My criteria for a good humidifier was the following: - Quiet - Cool AND Warm mist setting - LED showing humidity level This had everything. The product feels sturdy and clean and high quality. Nothing really feels cheap on this thing at all. This is miles better than the $50 BOSSJOY humidifier that I wasted my time and money on (eventually returned that one). This thing is quiet. This thing has a cool mist setting, and the warm mist setting is REALLY WARM. It also warmed up within just a few minutes. The cheaper humidifer I returned said it was supposed to turn warm after 30-40 minutes but never turned warm even after hours of leaving it on. I can't vouch for the accuracy of the humidity level but after leaving it on for one night, the number on the LED panel went from 30% humidity to 45%+ humidity. I felt really refreshed when I woke up, as well. My only concern is, is this too good to be true? Will this thing break after 2 months? So far, signs point to no. However, I'll be sure to update this review if something bad happens in the future. UPDATE: I'm docking a star. When they said you have to clean this thing every week, they really meant it. This thing builds up a LOT of limescale, and I have to spend at least 15-20 minutes once a week trying to scrub all the brown gunk that builds up in the device's pipes and crevices, and even with the included brush, you can't get every corner. The water tank itself has the same problem: there's always a thin brown layer of limescale that I have to reach in and clean by sticking my entire hand into the water tank reservoir. They should have made the water tank open up if they expected their customers to clean the water tank so thoroughly. That said, I still think it's one of the better humidifiers out there. I just didn't know that I would have to clean it this thoroughly and this often.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät. Das Gerät kam ohne Beschädigungen bei mir an. Nach dem Auspacken und auffüllen des Wassertanks konnte es direkt los gehen. Die Automatikfunktion ist nicht so das richtige für mich, weswegen ich meine Wünsche einfach Manuell eingestellt habe. Ich finde es gut, dass man einen Wunschwert einstellen kann z.B. 50% Luftfeuchtigkeit und das Gerät beim erreichen dieses Wertes sich ausschalten und nach 5% Absenkung (45%) dann sich wieder einschaltet. Die Möglichkeit auch eine Heizung einzuschalten, bietet mehrere Vorteile wie z.B. schnellere Bindung mit der Umgebungsluft und weniger Abkühlung der Umgebungsluft (im Winter z.B.). Ich selber habe das Gerät zunächst mit 7dH Wasser verwendet. Dennoch ist Zuviel Kalk im Wasser und Mineralien sowieso. Ich habe jetzt Destilliertes Wasser gekauft und damit habe ich keinen "Kalk-Nebel" mehr. Der Tank hält ca. 2,5 Tage mit je ca. 8-10 Stunden Arbeitszeit auf einer Nebelstärke von 1. Also ca. 20-25 Stunden mit einer 6L Tankfüllung auf der Stufe 1. Kann ich nur Empfehlen. Ho un soggiorno di 60mq con stufa a legna che scalda e secca notevolmente l’aria. Sono arrivato anche al 35% di umidità in ambiente con conseguenti problemi di secchezza della gola (sopratutto nei bambini). Mi serviva un umidificatore potente, con molta autonomia e che facesse anche vapore caldo all’occorrenza (più sano e di aiuto alla secchezza delle vie respiratorie). Ho trovato questo in offerta usato come nuovo (60€!). Preso con l’intenzione di rimandarlo al mittente se mi avesse deluso come altri due in precedenza. Che dire: FANTASTICO. Un umidificatore vero! Automatico volendo. 5 litri di autonomia che mi portano l’umidità al 55% per 4gg senza problemi. Silenziosissimo! Posizionato in soggiorno vicino alla tv non si sente minimamente. Facile da caricare e da pulire. Raccomando di usare solo acqua demineralizzata o d’osmosi. Non ha nulla a che vedere con i diffusori di essenze ambiente spacciati per umidificatori. Quelli fanno solo profumo. Questo fa VAPORE. Vale sicuramente il prezzo anche da nuovo ovviamente. Provato per 2 mesi e ne sono ancora un felice utilizzatore. Non posso che consigliarlo a chiunque abbia le mie esigenze.

Firstly the reviews for this product on amazon are mostly for another product. You can see the photos summited are for another humidifier model. They switched the product so they can use the good ratings of another product to boost the sales of the new product. Amazon need to do something about this but they turn a blind eye. I think lot of people just don't tighten the seal properly then they get leaks then leave unhelpful reviews. For me, this product is great. Very easy to use. Only problem is you get a gluping sound which may be a problem when using in the bedroom for light sleepers. I got used to it in a few days and no longer a problem. And I think a top-fill version would have been more convenient. I use with brita filtered water and have to refill everyday for highest setting or every 2 days for lowest setting. I get quite a bit of limescale so I wash it every few weeks with a brush. It's kind of a hassle to use this way but it will reduce limescale and i suspect will prolong the product life. The remotecontrol and buttons on the unit are very simple to use, very intuitive. It's not silent, though it is very quiet. It's a bit more noisy if you use the heating feature. Has an auto shut off when it runs out of water. Overall I'm very happy with this product. If i get 2 years use of it i'll consider it money very well spent.

Fait son job , mais il est parfois bruyant . J’ai aussi quelques difficultés à le régler ou alors il dépasse le pourcentage demandé .. ça reste un bon produit pour les plantes mais je le surveille du coup .

It’s been 1 month we started using it , it never reached set humidity level for hours , fasle claiming on the senors and product by owners , not worthy of buying . Waste of money since we neither return nor get service.
