I just bought my first bowling ball and wasn't used to the snug fit. I asked the gentleman to drill the thumb a bit bigger and he (very reluctantly) did it. He warned me a thousand times that making the hole bigger was going to make the discomfort even worse, but miss know it all (me) insisted. Well, he was right, cause it made the blister on my thumb 10x worse, but I was not about to go back and tell him that he was right after arguing with him for 2 or 3 weeks, so I dealt with it. A fellow bowler noticed the change in my throw and offered me a piece of tape and it made everything better. I RAN to amazon and found this pack and use them every week. They are stretchy so you can place it whatever way fits for you and it lasts through the whole league night. I even got the original tape giver to try this and he switched from the professional brand to this one.

These are easily the worst thumb tapes I’ve ever used. There is no stretch along your thumb so any bending will cause them to peel off (I know you’re supposed to keep your thumb straight when you bowl, but when you aren’t bowling it’s going to bend), the adhesive is terrible and as you bowl they will start to just fall off or the ends will curl on their own. I can’t make it through half a game without having to replace them, and worst of all I got splinters from them. I cleaned off all of my remaining strips and there were shards of hard plastic on every one. I attached a picture for you to see all of the plastic on me after I cleaned them. Do NOT buy these strips. Spend a few dollars more and get something high quality that will stretch and not cut you…

You get a large quantity for the price. So long as you don't get sweating hands they are great. They do not hold up well. They leave sticky residue but don't stay in place as well as I would like. I lovethe case and will be using it but not likely to but these tapes again.

Well, this tape is alright but it does not seem too stick that well.

Too thick for me sometimes. I still use the thinner ones in a couple of my balls.
