This pendant is awesome! I originally got it to wear until I become a MM when I'll get a ring instead (I'm an EA now). I wear it to remind me of what the fraternity stands for, and keep it hidden underneath my shirt for no one else to see.PROS:~ The quality is great for stainless steel that tends to look warped with the finer details. A black enamel is between the fine details and though it isn't perfect, its imperfections lend to its charm.~ The fact that it is stainless steel is its biggest perk. No tarnishing, fading or discoloring of your skin! Wear it in the shower or in the mud and it will never lose its shine.~ The shipping was fantastic. I ordered this product three days ago with standard shipping. Not only did it ship the very same day (it was after 5pm), but it arrived a whole week before it was expected! Simply outstanding customer service.CONS:~ When opening the package, there was an awful smell of cigarette smoke. If this doesn't bother you, then no problem. I don't usually complain about this type of thing in reviews, but this was absolutely terrible. The package might have well been stuffed with tar and ash.~ I did notice that the front is buffed a little bit more than the back, but why would you wear it backwards? I can also imagine the black enamel falling out over time, but it would likely still look great without any black antiquing.~ The chain is nice, though some men may find it to be a bit short. If worn with a t-shirt, you will find that the pendant lies right underneath the collar, just a bit longer than a "choker" necklace. Needless to say, I replaced it with a slightly longer steel beat necklace that I prefer.CONCLUSION:I have always wanted to be a Mason, and when the time came that I finally earned my EA degree, I needed something small to commemorate it that I could carry with me forever. I refuse to buy a ring until I'm raised, so a cheap, steel necklace was perfect. This product exceeds my expectations. If you are a fellow Mason looking for a cheap talisman to remind you of the Craft, look no further!

Got this for my husband as a father's day gift, he was very happy. Lots of detail on the pendant however the chain was a little short and we will have to purchase another one.

IT'S OKAY FOR WHAT I PAID BUT I WOULD RATHER PAY A LITTLE MORE AND GET SOMETHING NICER. THE CLASP THAT ATTACHES THE CHARM TO THE CHAIN IS NOT WELDED (BY DESIGN) AND I AM CONCERNED IT WILL BE HIGH RISK FOR COMING OFF THE CHAIN. I WILL BE RETURNING THE ITEM.

I purchased this for an add-on Christmas gift for my husband. He's a Mason. It was actually a lot nicer than I expected for the price.

The first think I dislike is the chain its a piece of trash would not Recommend 'To my Masonic brother out there do not buy this Item "The Square and Compass is ok but the chain is junk please believe me .

The chain didn't look how I expected it to and the piece attaching the pendant to the chain broke immediately after putting it on.
