Costa Rican Coffee Dark Roast Whole Bean (1, San Marcos)

We recently took a cruise, which stopped in Costa Rica, and had the opportunity to learn about Costa Rican coffee. This stuff is fantastic! We buy whole bean coffee and grind at home. We bought a few bags of this brand in Costa Rica, and were thrilled to find it available on Amazon. Well worth the money.

I consider myself a bit of a coffee snob, typically gravitating toward more expensive whole bean coffees like Stumptown and Counter Culture, I have to say that this coffee is every bit as good and the price is great. I’ve been grinding and brewing pour overs with this, and I’m really impressed with the flavor and aroma. Will be back for more.

Not a good experience with the bag we purchased. Tasted spoiled or expired. We tossed it out.

ordered whole... sent ground which is significant if you prep your own espresso.... no return item info... worked around by using pressurized basket, so not the end of the world .... is currently my go-to espresso bean so i always keep on hand.

The aroma is nice, specially after grounding…and the flavor was better enjoy black with no milk or cream.

Better than I thought it would be. will purchase again
