Happy It’s Still Available ~ Great Product
Glad this is still being offered. Memories from the farm & the mule circling the press. This is a little pale, but it’ll darken & mature. Good product.

Good value, good flavor
Tastes great, complex and molasses-like. Using a jar for a substance so viscous isn't easy but I transferred it to an old squeeze bottle for honey I had. It tastes good on pancakes. Glad I could try sorghum syrup, very interesting flavor!

Very nice!
Nutritionally wonderful. I put it in my oatmeal with a sliced banana and it feels like a good breakfast for an old folk, and cheap too !

Excellent Sorghum Syrup - I use it for a gingerbread from a family recipe
My grandfather's sister used to make gingerbread using sorghum syrup instead of molasses. Oberholtzer's is apparently made in the same area of Kentucky that my family migrated from. I have bought several jars and the resulting gingerbread is great. It reminds me of visiting my grandfather's sister as a child, who made them on a regular basis for us. She was a real character. She smoked a pipe with Red Ox twist tobacco and kept a hatchet next to her chair in case of burglars, but she was very gentle and by that time could in no way defend herself against an intruder. There aren't many such individuals in NorthEast Indiana anyways.
