PiranhaMAX 4 Fish Finder with Transducer, Dual Beam Sonar, Portable Carrying Case

Great portable fish finder, charged the battery assembled the unit and we went fishing the next day it worked perfect. we fished 6 hours looking for suspened wallies marked lots of fish caught a nice pike and a sheephead. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a portable fish finder it's a great catch.

This is a great portable sonar and is super easy to use and understand with great color and adequate detail. This is a great sonar for Canadian fly-in fishing trips provided the outpost camp has a source for electricity to re-charge the battery. The suction cup for the transducer sticks well to aluminum boats. My only frustration is the portable carrying case is not very well designed. The back has a zipper opening to expose the battery for attaching the power cables and for charging the battery. I find the opening too small and I can't get my fingers inside to attach the cables to the battery--so I pull the whole sonar out of the carrying case to access the battery. I like the unit and am glad I purchased one.

Use on my pond buster 10 ft plastic boat. Works well except the suction cup on the transponder will not, WILL NOT stay attached to the boat when moving.. Very aggravating when you spend more time trying to keep it attached then you do fishing Also the fabric carrying case is useless, it is to small for the carrier the fish finder fits into.. if you get the carrier into the fabric cover you can to get the battery into it also. And if you do you can not connect the battery to the fish finder Totally useless

I have successfully fished using this locator sitting between my knees in my kayak and canoe. It is fully portable, easy to set up and use on the lakes and rivers where I fish. The screen is easy to see and to change settings easily. Charging the battery is a little testy. But using the locator a few times I have gotten used to hooking up the battery to the charger without too much trouble. It has increased my fun to fish. It's everything I need to spend some time on the water fishing.

We got this to attach to my sons kyak! It was a great value for everything that came with it instead of purchasing everything seperatly!

Horrible! I thought this would work for ice fishing but it didn’t work at all. I thought I read through the details and description of this product very thoroughly but it seems, I missed the fine print, not for ice fishing but why is it packaged like it can be used for ice fishing. STUPID!!!!

I used this fish finder for 3 fishing trips so far in different lacs. It performed at best .. easy set up...shows well what is below and make my trips successful fishing. I was surprised how the battery lastéé overall works at the best.. price versus quality is worth ....highly recommended
