Excellent flashlight
If you are looking for a flashlight that will send a spot of light out to 700 yards? This is not the light for you. If you want to light up an entire city block? Not the light for you. If you need an excellent, easy to use, pocket friendly flashlight with a really nice coloration of the light beam? This is probably going to be your new everyday use flashlight. The FC11C is a truly fantastic light for the beginner, for more experienced flashaholics, the kids, or even for the older parents. It fits into your hand very ergonomically. It slides into your pocket and stays put, due to the pocket clip. It also comes with a lanyard and a magnetic tailcap (so you can stick it to any metal surface for hands free use). One of the great things about Wurkkos lights is that most come with the rechargeable battery and a USBC charging port built right into the light. They are also water proof with an IPX8 rating and drop proof to at least 3 feet (they have been torture tested and dropped at 10 feet or more without issue). The FC11C comes with a buck driver, which means that it can sustain the top output for a good bit longer than normal drivers allow. Turbo mode is 1200 lumens, which means you can see all around you! The LED is the nichia 519, which produces a good neutral tint of light which makes the colors of objects appear as they do in daylight. Most flashlight enthusiasts love the neutral or warmer colored leds. This light sends the beam out to around 150 yards/meters, and I can confirm that you can see things near that distance. The beam has a large hotspot that blends out smoothly to some nice flood due to the orange peel reflector. This makes for a very nice beam for everyday uses. The operation (UI, user interface) is pretty cool, because you can change it between 2 types of operation. Both types have memory to the last light level you were on. It comes set up in stepped modes, meaning you get a low, mid, and turbo. Click to turn on light. Click and hold to change modes. Click again to turn off. Easy peasy. From off, Click and hold for a few seconds and you get a very low moonlight mode. From anywhere, a double click will send you straight to the 1200 lumen turbo mode. To change to a smooth ramping mode: from off, click and hold until the light flashes (about 5-10 seconds). You are now in smooth ramping mode. Click to turn on. Click and hold, and it will slowly begin to get brighter. Release the button to stop at the level you want. A quick click and hold after the release will begin a slow ramp downwards. Release when you reach the output you want. From off, a click and hold will give you moonlight. Double click from anywhere sends you to turbo. 4 quick clicks will lock out the light to prevent accidental activation when in a pack or pocket. 4 more removes lockout and allows you to resume all functionality. My final thoughts on the light... it is not the biggest brightest light in the world, and certainly not that from the lights in my collection. But it was made to be a daily user for almost all circumstances where you will need a flashlight. The neutral tint makes this easy on the eyes, and colors show nicely under the beam. Wukkos gives us another excellent choice for a daily user. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. I have added some beamshots to this review. The corner of the fence against the garage is about 40 yards. The shed is around 80 yards. The treeline is about 100ish yards. And the second shot is at near 140-150 yards. You can see the light is beginning to get weaker at that distance. Buy this light with confidence. Wurkkos stands behind their products and their customer service is always available if you have questions or an issue. Enjoy!

Great EDC Flashlight
This is a great flashlight, and inexpensive. I carry it in my pocket every day. Fits great in the pocket or hand. Feels like solid manufacturing. Uses the ubiquitous 18650 battery. Adjustable from very dim to very bright. Good magnet on the tailcap. The only downside is I would prefer a dual clip so it can be clipped up or down—down for my pocket, up/forward to clip it on a hat as a headlamp. Easily remedied: I bought a replacement clip on the Wurkkos website for $1. SKU: “Pocket clip-FC12-BK” A little tight fit but it’s solid once I got it on there.

Compact and bright, but hot
Easily the best flashlight I’ve used at this size and price point. It’s incredibly powerful and the magnet on the back has been really helpful. Only downside is that it gets hot after minutes of continuous use, but that could be expected with a compact flashlight with this level of power output

Works well, minor issues with maintenance (Short Term Review)
Pretty good, haven't used it long. so I can't say (for now) about the long-term usage. It's relatively bright outside at night, easy to use, and pretty light. The charging function, though is on the middle of the side, which isn't all that great, and it has a rubber cover over the charging port, so I'm not sure whether it will break off one day. I'm also a bit miffed that, as the instructions say, to clean the battery area and apply lubricant every six months.

FC11C: A Worthy Upgrade - Brighter, Better, Greener!
I have the previous version of this light, the FC11, and I liked it so much that I purchased the FC11C to replace it as my everywhere carry light. I liked the black one that I had to hop on the green version and it's absolutely beautiful! The FC11 series lights have a great lumen output, magnetic base, great build quality, usb-c charging, and a well built pocket clip. The new FC11C is vastly improved under the skin over it's predecessor. The FC11C uses a high end Nichia 519A LED so the light output is really color accurate and has a high CRI. This means when you are looking at colors such as, red, green, blue, etc… they all look the way they should and are not washed out. This may not sound like a big deal but when you are trying to identify something in the pitch black, you will be happy you have a light with good CRI. The other major improvement on the FC11C is the driver. A driver basically takes the power from the battery and allows it to flow to the light. The new FC11C uses a buck driver which is very efficient. An efficient driver will generate less heat and will regulate the power much better which means that you will get much longer run times and the light won't burn you after it's been on high for 5 minutes. One other note about the light is that mode 2 opens up a ramping mode that allows a really low lumen low mode. This is even lower than the low mode that the light ships with out of the box. I love the extra low lumen mode for not waking my wife up when I have to get up late at night. To enable this, hold the button down when turning the light on. It takes about 3 seconds and the light will flash once to let you know that it's changed. Trust me, do this right away, it's a game changer. Overall, if you can't tell, I love this light. It's got everything you would want from a multi-purpose light and you won't be disappointed. The FC11C is the one to get and I 100% love the green version.

An Update of a Classic
Honest review of free product provided by Wurkkos The Wurkkos FC11C is a great combination of value and performance. It does everything well. The “C” version is an update to the original FC11 which was already a solid light. The C adds a better Driver circuit which helps keep the voltage constant over the life of the battery resulting in a steady brightness instead of getting dimmer as the battery depletes. The C also has an updated LED, the enthusiasts favorite Nachia 519A. It’s a great LED that has high color rendering. The build quality on this light is excellent with perfect machining and anodizing. Amazing at this price point. It includes a 18650 3,000 mAh rechargeable Li-Ion battery. The battery can be recharged with the on board USB-C charging port. Very convenient. It has a status LED in the button which lets you know when the battery is getting low and also shows the charge status. This model does not appear to have reverse charging, so you won’t be able to charge you cell phone with the Flashlight battery. That is not really a negative because the 18650 battery size doesn’t have the capacity of its larger Brother, the 21700. It is nice that the light is offered in multiple colors. Be careful with the Amazon listing because they have the FC11 and FC11C on the same page and it would be easy to miss the difference when ordering. The User Interface is simple and easy to understand. On, Off, and ramping of the brightness with a simple button press or hold. You can easily switch between stepped or infinite ramping modes. It also includes Three Strobe modes; Tactical, SOS, and beacon that can be accessed with Three clicks. Four clicks will lock/unlock the Flashlight to prevent it from turning on in your pocket or bag. That’s very important for a high performance light like this. Another feature worth mentioning is the magnetic tail cap which allows you to attach the light to metal surfaces. Very useful. You can’t go wrong with the Wurkkos FC11C. It’s the perfect introduction to a high quality light for a beginner yet offers enough performance and features to satisfy any enthusiast. Thumbs Up !

Great little flashlight with excellent value and quality, high-CRI light!
I ordered two of these last week after seeing reviews on r/flashlight. It's hard to find good flashlights that have quality light. This flashlight has a CRI of over 90 (CRI = color rendering index) and that's one of the most important things about this light. I compared the output of this light to my Fenix FD40. The FD40 has a neutral white emitter, and I can clearly see how the colors from this flashlight are much more vivid. When I point it at someone's legs, they look like a pale vampire with the Fenix, but "alive" with this flashlight. When I point it at something colorful, the reds and especially deep reds actually look red instead of like some sort of pale, faded magenta. Next to the FC11, the neutral-white Fenix appears like it might be around 70 CRI. And the UI allows you to choose any brightness, not just a preset low, medium, and high. There's also an option to switch to presets, but I like the ramping up and down feature much better. Also, the light is much smaller than I expected. This flashlight makes me happy. I wanted to order 3 more as gifts, but they only had 2 more coming into stock, so I ordered both. Sorry everyone. Hopefully they'll have more in stock soon. ------------------------------------ Wurkkos, if you're listening, the two flashlights I want most right now, but that don't exist yet, are: 1. The same as the FC11 (high CRI) but with a 21700 battery, allowing a bit more output but more importantly, much more runtime. I love the compactness, but would appreciate a *little* more in the way of a heat sink to allow longer runtimes at higher output. This light is 1300 lumens, so maybe just 1600 for the max. I know you have one with a 21700 battery, but it's not high-CRI and is a bit different otherwise, too. 2. A high CRI flashlight that uses TWO 21700 batteries, perhaps stacked above and below each other rather than in-line, so they can be connected in parallel. If it's done right and has, say, the ability to separately switch(/disconnect from the circuit) each battery for charging, then it should be able to charge both batteries as well. (Perhaps this can be done either with a dual "pole" mosfet or a clicky switch at the rear? ..but if it's cheaper, a dual-pole clicky switch in the tail could serve as both a lockout to the soft-press button, and as a hard power-off for charging. This is based on my understanding that the proper way to charge two batteries is separately or vs parallel or in series.) My desire for a two-21700 battery flashlight is more for runtime than power output, but it would make a huge difference in power delivery for higher outputs. I would never buy a flashlight like this if it was not high-CRI. Period. That's why I got the FC11 in the first place. If a dual 21700 was even higher than 90 CRI that would be even better. A 94 to 98 CRI light would be best. I don't know how much the cost would go up for this, but any flashlight with as much power as two-21700 batteries would be even more versatile if it could serve as a battery bank, too.

I really like Wurkkos lights but this one is not for me
I think in the world of flashlights you really have to see the color of the beam in action to know if you will like it or not. This is a "High CRI" light (color rendering index). I didn't realize how much impact this would have until I used this light side by side with it's sibling, the FC12C. For me, the warm, very yellow hue just doesn't light things up all that well. I understand that colors are more realistic with warmer lights but when it comes to what I can see, I will take a cooler, whiter light all day (night) long. As a mechanic, I think this light may be beneficial when working on wiring harnesses under the dash where being able to identify the color of wire in a tight space is extremely important but I haven't tried that against my other lights to know if it truly makes that much difference. Warmer lights are also less harsh so sensitive eyes may prefer this warmer color. I had to run this light on high or turbo to see well at all and as you may know, most lights like this can only run on those higher outputs for a very limited time before they "throttle back" due to thermal regulation. The FC12C on the other hand puts out excellent light even on its mid setting (which it can maintain for a long time) and when you hit high or turbo the light output is impressive for such a budget light. Size is nice. It will fit in a pocket but I wouldn't want to carry it in my pocket all day. Beam pattern gives a nice flood and I really appreciate the magnetic tail (but it doesn't have a tail switch which some people really like). I also like that this light has a buck driver so your light output should remain consistent whether fully or partially charged (as long as thermal regulation doesn't come into play). In my opinion, any new light should either have a buck or a boost driver these days. I have several Wurkkos lights and I am a big fan in general, just not a fan of this particular light. They make high quality lights at a reasonable cost. As I wrote this review I realized how many features of this light I really like. If they offered this light with a cooler led I think it would be one of my favorites but until then I'll stick with my others.
