I bought this about a month ago and have absolutely loved it. Clean cut and no razor burn. I'm can't believe I only just thought to get this type of razor last month, given that I've been shaving for going on 25 years. Today I realized it wouldn't turn on and I was furious. My fiancee, being the brilliant man he is, had the bright idea to open the head to clean it. It was totally packed with hair, so the mechanism couldn't move. After being cleaned and oiled it worked good as new.

Very easy to use, I've not used it in water, and will not use it in the water. Hasn't caused razor bumps like normal razors always do for me.

I was really excited to get this trimmer and start using it. At first, it seemed like a great tool. It worked perfectly the first time I used it for about 5 minutes, and then I safely stored it back in the box it came in because it runs on a single battery. However, when I went to use it again after about 2 weeks, it was completely dead. I tried changing the battery, but it still wouldn't turn on. I'm disappointed because I was hoping to get more than just one use out of it. This is my third attempt at buying a trimmer, and unfortunately, this one was the worst. Paying $30 for a product that only works once doesn't seem like a good deal to me. I might as well risk getting nicks and ingrown hairs instead of wasting money on a product that doesn't work. I wouldn't recommend it, but I wouldn't knock it either. You might have better luck than me. It seems like a 50/50 chance, but I'm done searching for something that works and getting nothing. The razor wasn’t as convenient to use as I assumed it would be. To turn the razor on, you have to twist the razor to the right. To take apart the razor to insert batteries, you have to turn to the left. Turning it to the left also turns the razor off. When I am shaving, turn the razor on and off to assess the area hair I’m shaving. With this razor, if you twist it to the left to turn it off it will slip past the off switch and take apart the razor completely. This happened a couple times while I shaved in the shower and it resulted in it constantly dropping onto the shower floor in the middle of the process. It is a very loosely made razor.

I’ve purchased 2 of these. The first one lasted for years. The second one broke within a month, it doesn’t work anymore. It’s a shame because I have bought other ones since this one broke and they all cut you (blood) or pull hair. The Venus intimate razor has never cut me or pulled hair. I can also use it dry or wet and I can work fast because this trimmer is safe. I absolutely hate that mine broke. I don’t want to order another one because it’s pricey for it to just stop working, again. :(

I use it for facial hair and underarm. Been using it since July 2022 and it has never failed me once. It's battery powered so no "charging" is needed. It's honestly better than all those rechargeable ones out there cuz we all know those are meant to only last for 1-2 years max. I travel with it all the time for last minute shave and gosh I will buy it again without a blink if mine ever dies. The white part don't stain with my mindless abuse of using it on top of makeup LOL Just wipe it with a tiny dab of makeup remover and it's just like new.

Arrived quickly. Gentle and effective. Easy to use, highly recommend.

I like how small this thing is. I doubted it when I opened the package, but while trying to shave one's bush down under, it is comforting and convenient to not be handling a bulky device. The added clip is great for cutting to a common length for folks who still want to see/feel some hair--but be patient, as I found this required a few passes. Removing the clip and shaving down to skin was faster, I did not feel any tugging or nicks, and it was very easy and intuitive. I haven't tried this in the shower yet, but it is advertised as being made for that--I recommend that path instead of making a mess everywhere like a barber shop floor. Read the instructions for how to clean the shaver head, that is the only part not intuitive. Also, the instructions seem to indicate you need to oil the blade after washing, but there's no oil included in my box, so... contemplate where to get some.

Worked well until it just completely stopped working about 5 months in, no amount of changing the batteries helped, so it's an internal quality issue. Disappointing.
