Just before buying make sure your PC supports PCIe Gen 4 SSD , if it only supports PCIe Gen 3 SSD then this ssd will only be working at speed of PCIe Gen 3 .

This is pretty much the "cheapest" fast SSD you can buy as of 2023. It slightly exceeds its rating of 5150 MB/s when tested. You should get it if it's under 300 SR. If you already have an old SSD that gets you around 3000 MB/s, it's not really worth upgrading to this. This SSD gets a little hot when it's actively used. If you use it on a PS5, make sure you buy a basic heatsink for it. In a cooled desktop PC, I don't think you should worry about the temperature. In terms of specs, this SSD is DRAM-less. In other words, it means it's not as fast as the most expensive SSDs in its generation, but it's still surprisingly fast for the price you pay. I registered this SSD at the WD support website, and it appears that I received a US version of the SSD which only has a warranty valid for US customers. You get a 5-year warranty but you can't claim it here in KSA. It is up to you to take this risk. This is a high quality SSD but even the best SSDs break sometimes. I use this SSD on a desktop PC that only supports PCIe Gen 3.0 SSDs (max ~3500 MB/s), and this SSD is still worth the price, as all Gen 3.0 SSDs I found were more expensive than this one. If you use it on a PS5, you will get the full speed of this SSD (>5150 MB/s), however, this SSD is not recommended for PS5 games. Because games only get more demanding in the future, Sony recommends SSDs with at least 5500 MB/s read speed, and this SSD is barely under this recommendation. Overall, this is a solid SSD to buy in 2023, but I don't think it'll be the best option for long. PCIe Gen 5.0 is here, and in a few years we might see affordable Gen 5.0 SSDs that are double the speeds of this one. Make sure to do some research if you buy this in the future.
