Bones Highland Heroine Miniature Reaper

Took paint very well without primer, as product description implies. Sword came bent downward due to packaging, but easily straightened out in front of the blow heater. Actually, I ended up with a slightly upswept blade, making for a pretty cool looking katana/claymore hybrid for my fantasy diorama. The artist made a really nice piece here. Her hair and leg garments--often neglected at this scale--are especially spot on, I think. The artist NAILED the pose as well. I also drilled and jeweled her cape, which offered plenty of thickness for my project without any punch-through.

As a female DnD goer I am pretty overwhelmed with the amount of half naked female characters and don’t generally see many realistically dressed ones. I play a Mountainborne Goliath Barbarian, so living in snow and high climates don’t mix with fur bikinis. She looks/fits perfect for how I wanted my character design and has a lot of detail in the mini itself. Only drag is the sword is a bit flimsy so it can bend out of shape, but that’s pretty normal for most minis.

Shipping was fast and looks exactly as it does in the picture. the sword is a little bent but its plastic so its fine. cant wait to start painting it.

The sword comes fairly bent and I wasn't able to get it unwarped. The details are a little hard to work out, but it can be done, you definitely want to paint this model and not just leave it primed. However for the price it is still a great model.

Sword is slightly warped and bends down but that appears to be caused from bumping around the packaging some. Was shipped in original packaging and arrived very quickly. Same quality I have come to expect from Reaper Minis.

Painted her up for a Norse themed campaign. Awesome model.

The mini itself I like, her sword is always kind of bent though and won't straighten out the way it is in the picture.
