New lease of life for my 4cell Maglite torch.
This LED bulb has given my old and much loved 4cell (6v) Maglite torch a new lease of life. This is so much brighter than the old incandescent bulb and focusing the front parabolic reflector gave the same beam patterns as before. Very pleased as it is easy to narrow the beam to remove dark spot in the centre or go extra wide beam with the dark spot as it always has. Comparing this LED bulb to my other know rated torches it feels as if it is in the region of 530 lumens. The strobe mode is turned on by clicking the switch fully off and on again. Not sure I'll ever use the strobe mode but it's there. As I have only just installed this LED bulb I can't comment on power consumption but I can only imagine it won't drain the cells as fast as the old incandescent bulbs.
