6mm Natural Fragrant Green Sandalwood 108 Mala Beads - Tibetan Buddhism Prayer Beads

Can't stop buying this because people love these so much that I have been giving them out as gifts. The beads, 6mm, are the perfect size for a fashion sense as well as using them for actual meditation and going through mantras. The genuine Sandalwood is just right, a lovely subtle fragrance that remains... just right. The weight is better than stone options for handling, wearing, and using during meditation so as to be the least distracted while using them. I like the stretchable string which is a good thickness and quality for durability that allows me to wear it easier, and is a big plus for my preference when having a mala. If a mala didn't have a stretchy string I would remake it with one, but with these it isn't necessary. The pouch it comes with is just right as well as the nice box it comes in. Makes for a lovely gift as well as storage. It's not as green as the picture, but IMO it is just the right hue of green with the sandalwood to give it a natural and organic look. I was worried when I ordered it that it would be too green and unnatural looking, but it is quite the contrary. I was more than impressed with this and I couldn't recommend the mala more.

I am a small woman and ordered this for prayer/meditation purpose. I ordered the candle wood on purpose for its wonderful smell. But the beads i received has no fragrance whatsoever! Plus they are very even for my small hands. I cannot really feel them much when use during prayer.so itt is not very useful for that purpose and I am very disappointed!

The mala beads are beautiful, the canvas storage/gift bag is nice, and the artfully knotted ends is decorative. I like it, and wear it daily, but after very gentle use the elastic cord stretched to the point that if I didn't want big gaps between the beads, I had to pull it down via the lock bead - and then the decorative knot dangles far lower than it should. Regardless, its well worth the price and if the elastic breaks and I can't re-string it, I would definitely buy it again. Also, if you do get it wet, simply allow it to dry and then rub a very light, unscented oil very sparingly on the beads to restore luster without interfering with the sandlewood scent.

Very happy with these. They are small, but I have extremely tiny hands and these are perfect for both wrist wearing and mantra. The cord is sturdy, and they smell nice. What more is there?
