Quality, big and well worth the $
Great unit, runs as it should day in day out. Temp is very true and the size is great. It also toasts really good.wish it got a little hotter, but below the 450 it is always spot on in temp control. I like the racks and the variation of the placement is key to good reheat or cooking. High quality for the price if you need a bigger counter top oven to help keep the house cooler.

Large enough to really cook a meal
We've had some small toaster ovens the last couple of years and were having to cut a pizza in half just to cook one for the two of us; it's so nice to have a countertop oven that we can cook for two and more in! I love the simplicity of this thing - you know how there are so many preset buttons on everything now, it can be confusing and just unnecessary. I almost always use the same setting and amount of time for most of what we cook anyway. Of course, with every new gadget you get, you've got to learn all about it, and this was easy and quick to get the hang of. There is one rack and one tray, but as the picture shows, you can use them both for cooking a bunch at once. Because it's big enough to reach in, it's easy to clean inside. It has cooked all our food evenly so far, but our experience has been once you have a small oven for about a year and a half, things begin to not cook as well. That's why it's nice that this one doesn't cost so much since I already figure I'll be getting a new one after that long, but who knows - maybe this one will last longer than that before it starts declining. I do love the look of it, it's just kind of fascinating to see it on our counter! Some cons to note: the doors open together, so I'm always surprised when I reach for one door and the other opens too - don't stand too close while you open it thinking just one side will open or you might get hit by the other ... LOL ... Also, as we all know, the metal parts are going to get very hot and I always watch out for that, but there's a tiny metal piece at the inside top of the glass door that I didn't see. Once I brushed past that as I opened the door and got slightly burned - just enough to hurt a little while but not blister or anything, so watch out for that. And last of all my cons, as one reviewer mentioned (and I'm glad she did) the rack will tip backward when you pull it out and you could get burned or possibly have all your food slide backward and have a mess. This happens because the bumps or whatever you call them on the sides of the oven that hold the rack have a significant gap between the front and back; when the rack reaches that gap, there's nothing holding it up except the front one, so that makes it tilt backward. But I've already told my friends I love this thing and I definitely recommend it.

Comparison with Older Appliance Unfavorable
I am comparing with a toaster-oven-broiler I have owned for a few years, "Elite Cuisine Model ERO-2008N. Like the present "Elite Gourmet ETO2530M, it was not a top of the line when I bought it. It still works, but from time to time, I must straighten the top-rear heating element, which bends upward toward the top of the appliance from the heat. Because of this problem, I thought it a good idea to have a new one in my closet and bought the "Elite Gourmet ETO2530M" under review. The price was about 25% higher for a double-door oven. It came with only one wire rack, a black pan, a crumb tray and a handle. It is a lighter weight unit, though it has a larger capacity oven than the older. Not a marker of quality, generally. Steel is heavier than plastic. The wire rack's thinner wires are the same diameter as those of my older, but the rack's perimeter is of clearly narrower steel. The older came with 3 wire racks. The area of the new oven is larger; so I cannot use the older ones. It is not a big difference and could have been made the same with no disadvantage to the consumer. A big disadvantage in my opinion is the spacing of the heating elements is only about 6 inches apart, side by side. The old were about 8 inches apart. That allowed greater distance between the baking loaf pan and the elements and very likely more even heat distribution. Lastly, I found that turning the control switch to OFF does not turn off the ON/OFF light. I could be that OFF turns off or reduces power to the heating elements but does not open the heating circuit. I consider that a functional fault. The price is much higher, and the accessories fewer and of lower quality. It has a functional fault.

convenient and multipurpose
Sure! Here’s a more down-to-earth review: As a home cook who loves convenience, the Elite Gourmet Double French Door Toaster Oven has quickly become a favorite in my kitchen. The sleek stainless steel and black design looks great on my countertop, and it’s big enough to handle a 12-inch pizza—perfect for family dinners. The double French doors are a nice touch, making it easy to get to my food without fumbling with hot oven racks. I’ve found this toaster oven to be incredibly handy for all sorts of cooking. Whether I’m baking cookies, broiling a quick dinner, toasting some bread, or just keeping my food warm, it does everything without any fuss. The controls are straightforward, so it’s easy to switch between functions. The “Keep Warm” setting has been a lifesaver, keeping my meals at the right temperature until everyone’s ready to eat. In short, the Elite Gourmet Toaster Oven has made cooking and meal prep much simpler and more efficient. It’s a versatile tool that saves time and cuts down on clutter in my kitchen. If you’re looking for a reliable and stylish appliance that can handle a variety of cooking tasks, this toaster oven is definitely worth considering.

This oven is just perfect, not to big or to small just right. We use it almost every day, large area inside to cook. Highly recommend this product.

This toaster oven is simple, works very well, whether for pizza, casseroles, fish, and is NOT convection! Fabulous! These convection toaster ovens have such a high heat it's easy to burn, they advise cleaning anything that drips onto the elements every time, as they can catch fire! Not for me! Instead, this Elite Gourmet is very roomy inside, and with the French doors easy to access and looks very cool, kind of retro. Pleased with ever aspect of it

toast is almost too fast although the temp can be reduced slowing it down as wanted . The convection aspect is quite delightful in keeping foods juicy when cooked ,not dried out .
