Need something to record windows 10 installation tutorial from a surfacebook. can this handle capturing the setup screens to a video on another pc?

I have 3 computers connected to a 4-port KVM. The video output of the KVM is connected to this USB video capture card, which, in turn is connected to a laptop. On the laptop, I run the Windows "camera" app to view the video coming from the KVM. The Windows camera app allows me to capture full-motion video or, take screenshots. I can see and capture everything from the initial BIOS screen all the way through logon, using apps, and system shutdown (Windows and Linux). Both the still image capture and video capture have worked very well for me. I have not attempted to capture audio, so I can't speak to that part, although, it should work.
