Fits and works as advertised

NSK is a legendary name in bearings for a reason. I bought these to replace the still good bearings on my precision mill, and the difference is unbelievable. I have slight preload on them and I went from a slack of over 50µm to basically nothing. I can now upmill with little concern, and I get both incredible finish on the parts, and much less wear on the tools. My carbide inserts lasts probably 3x longer. SKF is a premium brand, and at this price is it a no-brainer. I only regret I did not do this before. Will fit Bridgeport mills, Lagun mills and similar. The tolerances are precise, and that is essential for this use—they pressed in perfectly with a satisfying fit. Do not waste your time with cheap, unbranded bearings. You will have to add a lot of preload to get precision, if at all, and they will wear out. I believe the light preload made this mill better than new.

Somewhere in the comments, someone said spend a few more pennies and get the SKF bearings that are not made in China. So I was disappointed to see that they are made in China. Other than that, they seem OK.

Can't go wrong with SKF bearings and these were priced right.

What can i say.. have reviewed SKF bearings in the past and they are arguably the best bearings made. Do yourself a favor spend a few extra pennies and by german/italian/USA made bearings instead of chinese.

Good Price for a well made product.
