Very smooth, missing keycap
The K8 is a lovely keyboard to use, both for gaming and general office use. The Gateron Red switches are so smooth but also have that solid feel to them - in my opinion they are superior to the Cherry MX Reds that I have in the Corsair K70 that this is replacing. The chassis is reassuringly robust - there is no give in it at all, as you would expect from a top brand. I can't comment on battery life as I am running it wired. The only negative is that one of the UK Windows keycaps was missing. It comes with all the keycaps for Mac in place, but you get a bag of Windows keycaps, and the hash/tilde keycap was missing. I opened a case with Keychron and after many back-and-forth messages I still have not received the missing item 6 months on. They claim not to have any in stock, which I frankly find hard to believe. All in all tho, highly recommended.

Great look and feel
This keyboard is perfect for anyone not wanting something too big but still have a lot of functions the keys feel great and the ease to be able to change part out is fantastic! Great keyboard for anyone with its Bluetooth feature and ability to be set up for windows or Mac

Good value with clear compromises.
I'm a programmer and I've used this keyboard between an office and home with the home use via cable and office via bluetooth. I bought the hot-swappable linear red k8 version for £99 and swapped the switches for linear blacks after a week or so. I don't care about RGB. I'm happy with the keyboard for what I wanted from it, which is pretty much "wireless, mechanical, hotswap switches, decent quality feel but not so expensive that I'd worry about throwing it in a backpack". I haven't had any issue with the bluetooth connection to a desktop for my usage. I don't flip between multiple devices so I can't speak to that functionality. The keyboard does employ a battery saving power down state as complained about in another review but you can switch this off. For coding/typing it's not really a problem for me as it only takes a few seconds to power back up. Swapping the switches was easy enough. The switch puller provided isn't great and a few of the keys that are closely bordered by stabilisers are tricky to get to but the feature works as advertised. The downsides of the keyboard are its thickness/height -- which may mean that a palm/wrist rest is a required accessory -- and the general compromises made to meet the price point. These boil down to: * Keycaps - not the worst caps out there (and they're at least a restrained style and not some "gamer" font) but they're very much to a budget. This is not necessarily a massive negative as if you get into the world of mech keyboards you'll probably want to get some new custom caps down the line anyway. * Some case "ringing" - again, the k8 isn't the worst offender I've come across, and it's far ahead of the <£50 mechs you'll find, but it does sound a little hollow if you are a heavy typist. * Cheap feeling selector switches - by which I mean the Cable-Off-BT and Win/Mac switches on the side. These are plasticky, fiddly, lack positivity and are generally unpleasant to use. What I would say is that these all come under "what I'd expect for the money" and strike me as the right place to save build costs for where this product is pitched.

Great except bluetooth and customer support
I bought this keyboard a few years ago, It's been great but the one issue I keep having is the bluetooth. I have to forget the keyboard nearly everytime I need to use it on my MacBook. It's very frustrating and the support from the company is non existent. Amazon takes you to the official page, keychron then say because you didn't buy from us you need to speak to the seller on Amazon. In the end I got ignored completely by keychron and I left it as is.

Don't bother getting "gaming" keyboards. This is far better.
Good quality, best mechanical keyboard I've owned. The hot-swappable feature is very handy too.

Been using cheap keyboards for years, this keyboard changed my typing experience and sped up my typing speed in ways that I wasn't expecting. A joy to use.

Super Keyboard
I should have bought a quality keyboard years ago. Nice connection options. Recommend. RGB not the brightest but that not an issue for me.
