Sawstop saws are the best.
What is to say? If you have a Sawstop, you need the cartridge. The delivery was fast and the price was fair. These are the safest saw on the market, so the expense is worth it.

Love Sawstop.
Sawstop….. that’s all I have to say. Great brand. Great product. I love the saw for its innovation. Cartridge is easy to install. No screws, just a simple twist and pull.

Check you miter fence!
Once you've done it a few times, it's fairly easy to change cartridges. If you're replacing one because it triggered the safety mechanism, be sure to lower the blade all the way down before trying to remove it. The cartridge works fine with a 8" dado set. However, beware of your miter fence! Twice now I've forgotten to adjust the positioning of the fence when switching to the opposite side, and therefore touched the blade with the fence, which of course triggers the auto stop safety feature and forces you to buy another cartridge. Not cheap, but better than the alternative.

Name Brand, New in Package
I bought this as a returned item. It was essentially brand new in package, as advertised. I've never triggered one of these (and my goal is to never trigger one of these), but having some safety on a dado blade is a fantastic idea to prevent a life changing accident if something did go wrong.
