The 'grey wash' finish looks better, I think, than it did in the pictures and goes really well against a brick wall in my room. The sturdiness is no joke - I believe I could literally stand on top of this unit without damaging it.Assembly was easy enough, and I did it by myself without the second pair of hands that they recommended. The top piece is long and heavy and has to be set into several pins simultaneously; that's about the only place where an extra person might be useful.I had a couple of minor problems, neither of which was serious enough to warrant taking a star away from the overall rating. They give you a very small tube of wood glue to dab on the dowel pins during assembly. It's about half the amount I needed; when they say 'small amount' they apparently mean it. Also, the 12mm screws that are used to attach the cabinet door hinges are from a supplier with - questionable - quality control practices. I sheared the heads off of two of them just from the torque I created hand-tightening them with a Phillips head screwdriver. I'm a 71-year-old man with carpal tunnel; I look nothing like Conor McGregor.Of course, once you drive a screw into a piece of wood and the head snaps off there's no way to back that out, so my door hinges are held in place by two screws instead of three. They still feel sturdy and open and close smoothly with no resistance, so I doubt this will be a problem long-term.But if someone from the manufacturer reads this, you may want to find a better supplier.

Love this piece, put it together alone, pretty easy but took a few hours. Was well worth the price, I am pretty impressed by the quality and love the way it looks in my living room. Can’t wait to use the fireplace!!!Size is perfect, very sturdy and quality of the material is excellent. Does not look like furniture I had to assemble.Nothing came damaged, the packaging itself was impressive, very protected in the box it arrived in.If you put this together and have an issue, you’ve done something wrong, retrace your steps. The directions are on point, just pay attention. All parts were in the box including extra (was labeled extra, I swear, not just parts that didn’t get used).Great piece, I definitely suggest buying!

Bought it for the aesthetic and am impressed with how well the heating function works.Warms the living room and looks great.Wasn’t difficult for my husband to put together.

love this stand. It's a little bit tricky to put together, had to change the way I did a couple steps but all in all it turned out beautiful. The fireplace puts out a good amount of heat but doesn't have a thermostat to shutoff. The flames look real and can be turned on separately from the heat. It is very sturdy. I had to call customer service and they were very helpful and took care of my problem immediately. Totally recommend this product.

Took my husband about 3 hours to put together but he didn’t have any complaints on the instructions or hardware. He says it needs to not get moved around a lot because it’s cheap and will break easily (but the lower price point was a strong factor in the purchase). I love having the fireplace on without the heat, just to enjoy it. The color is a perfect greige just like I was hoping for. Super happy with it!
