This was my second purchase of these socks - my last purchase was a year prior. Given the very sheer nature of these socks, I did not expect them to last long when I first bought them. I have been so happy with my first set - I wore them every workday at my desk job for nearly a year. When a couple of the socks developed holes, I bought another set. These socks are comfortable, go well with dress shoes, and are unbelievably sturdy for hosiery. I highly recommend them!

The denier is superb and they are very silky / comfortable. Will easily be able to wash and wear multiple times. These are fairly short ankle nylons, but no slippage or falling down. The little anti-slip feature they have on the bottoms does help; however, it shows when wearing heels that have a more 'sleek' design or in mary-janes, and is the only reason for not giving 5 stars. With a chunkier heel or full boot this won't be a problem. They could consider minimizing the area of the non-slip feature to make it less visible.

I bought these to wear with long pants and Toms because they get so stinky from going sockless. These are pantyhose material with extra (cotton?) stitching in the sole. I do believe this adds durability and absorption, but it's not any extra cushion. It still feels like pantyhose on the bottom, not like a sock. I wear size 10 women's and these are a little small on me. The stitching comes just to the back of my heel when I pull them all the way up. They still work fine and this brings me to the most important point. THEY STAY UP. I had basically no confidence that I would find something that works as well as these. I have never had them slip down. Now, this may also have something to do with the fact that I have larger than average ankles and these are tight on my ankles. This is my only complaint. I notice the tightness after wearing all day, and it leaves a red mark around my ankle for a little while after. Usually this is no big deal, but it's something to consider if you were changing into shorts or a dress immediately after wearing. They could be a little bit taller in the ankle, sometimes I think the top shows when I sit with legs crossed, but don't really care that much. So far they've held up well to machine wash and dry. I will probably get more when these wear out, but I may shop around for a taller/looser ankle.

They are a little bit too small for me -- I wear size 9.0 -- despite the "reinforced toes and soles" they got holes on them where my big toe nails are, the first time I wore them (I keep my toenails short and my feet pedicured.) I don't have this problem with Hanes or Berkshire knee-highs. In addition, depending on the type of shoes I'm wearing (shoes' fault, probably, not the socks) they turn over, meaning, the soles show up on the top of my feet. When that happens, I usually take off the shoes and roll my feet over a carpeted surface (only if I'm home!) and the soles go back to place. Although this gimmick works, it's not very pleasant to have to continually "mind your socks!" I wish they were a little bigger and more "stable," otherwise, I like the style and what it promises.

These fit perfectly. I don't like thick socks under dress boots, I tend to wear a knee high pantyhose of some sort, but these were perfect. My foot slipped right into the sock and right into the boot. The gripping bottom prevented my foot from sliding around, and if I had to take my boots off, the grip helped on the hardwood floor. More durable than hose, just hand wash or use a bag for delicates when washing in the washing machine.

DO NOT BUY! I wear a size 0 jeans. These socks are so tight. They were painful on me. I can’t imagine how they would feel on anybody larger than I am.

My wife really likes these low cut nylon socks. The bottom does add a little padding but mostly adds to longevity of the sock. I think they look really cute on her too 😊

I will never buy ordinary ankle-highs again. these are so strong with a reinforced toe and sole so they last a lot longer than others and they can go in the wash. In the past I have worn mine a few times and just chucked them but these go in the washing machine no bother. the upper section has a lovely soft feel to it and they fit beautifully. very happy

Ci vuole ancora per provarli ai piedi, ma sono di buona fattura, setosi e morbidi, quindi adatti alla mia delicata pelle, il resto lo scoprirò verso ottobre inoltrato, in sardegna c’è tanto caldo fin ad allora!
