They do trap very fine debri sorta like a furnace filter however,some tear after only a day or two but overall work as intended,good idea to check it daily

If you own a pool-these are a must! How did I not know about them sooner!! They filter so much more out than my skimmer basket alone was doing. Best part is that you just slide the debris filled sock off and throw it away! All that Schmutz from the nearby trees is filtered out and no need to get your hand slimy with the debris or having to rinse the skimmer basket.

These little babies are great!! They catch a lot of little things and keep it out of your filter. Very easy to change and wash out with a hose so we reuse them. Definitely recommend.
