AllSpice Stainless Steel Metal Spice Funnel (1 5/16" Bottom)

Well made spice funnel. Wide top for easy filling and wide base so that the spice does not jam up when entering the bottle. Stainless Steel means easy clean up and the assorted spice smells do not cling to the funnel. Well worth the purchase from the first time you try to load a spice bottle.

I ACTUALLY STUMBLED ON TO THIS PRODUCT BY LOOK. THE SPICE FUNNEL I ORIGINALLY ORDERED BECAME UNAVAILABLE FROM AMAZON. I HAPPENED TO SEE THIS A FEW WEEKS LATER. ALTHOUGH IT COST MORE THIS FUNNEL IS FAR SUPERIOR, MAINLY BECAUSE BOTH THE TOP AND THE NECK ARE WIDER THAN OTHER MODELS., WHICH MEANS YOU ARE NOT HAVING PEPPERCORNS, COARSE SALT GRANULES FALLING ON THE COUNTERTOP AND OR ROLLING ON THE FLORE. THE NECK IS AS WIDE AS POSSIBLE, BUT FITS IN SALT AND PEPPER MILLS AND STANDARD SPICE BOTTLES. OTHER FUNNELS ARE NOT NEARLY AS GENEROUS WITH THE FUNNELS TOP. THIS TOP IS WIDE. IT IS ALSO ONE PIECE OF SEAMLESS STAINLESS STEEL. WORTH THE PRICE, YOU'LL NEVER NEED ANOTHER SPICE FUNNEL. VERY WELL PLEASED.

Works great to refill my Penzey’s spice jars quickly and with no mess! I used to use a plastic funnel with a long, narrow neck and it took forever, was difficult, messy, and wasteful. This funnel just works! It’s well made, well finished (no sharp edges), doesn’t retain powders on its surface, cleans up easily, etc.

This is a Great little funnel, but the small end is not small enough to fit a small "McCormick glass" seasoning or spice jars. That's what I originally bought it for, but it is still a good funnel and will use it for other things.

This funnel is perfect for getting jelly into small jars. My canning funnel is great for standard jelly or canning jars but is too large for some of the smaller more decorative jars that make nice gifts. The wide top is plenty big enough for my ladle. Being stainless steel it easily handles the very hot jelly and then cleans up in sink or dishwasher. I will use it for filling spice jars too.

The reason I gave it only 3 stars is because, though it looks very pretty, pretty doesn't do it when it slips and slides in the top of the container so the food I am trying to transfer spills out. The funnel stem hole is a good size for flour and like substances, so that is very good, since I have never had one large enough before. But the stem is extremely short, so that makes a problem in larger opening containers. I guess I am going to have to sand the pretty surface off so it isn't slippery anymore.

UPDATE: HausLogic contacted me right away and provided amazing customer service, replacing my too-big funnel (1 5/16") with the 1" funnel. The 1" funnel fits all my spice jars perfectly! I'm so pleased with the funnel and thankful for such a prompt and cheerful solution. HausLogic went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Can't wait to experience easy refilling of my spice jars instead of the frustrating spillage it used to involve. Thanks, HausLogic! Original review: I am so disappointed that this funnel DOES NOT FIT any of my spice jars. I somehow missed the fact that there are two sizes, so I suppose it's my fault, but I spent $14 on a funnel that makes the situation worse than before, when I had no funnel at all. I've tried it in every spice jar I own: Simply Organic, McCormick, Spice Island. Nope, doesn't fit. The only purpose for which this 1 5/16" funnel serves me is refilling canning jars of spices. Such a disappointment.
