I purchased this for myself because it looked really cute and I wanted a piece of jewelry that I could wear at work that would properly "represent" my daughter. I know a lot of moms out there have necklaces or bracelets that their children have bought for them or even made for them that they wear on a daily basis. Well my daughter is 2 and since she was born in July, I wanted something with a Ruby in it. After much searching and debating over what to get, I happened to stumble across this ring one night as I was searching. I was a bit reluctant to buy a jewelry piece online, because I prefer to see things in person before buying. However, I decided to go out on a limb and get this. It arrived quickly and looks great in person! It was definitely better than I was hoping for and I wear it every day. The ring is sterling silver and has the 925 stamped on the inside. It is listed as a natural red ruby gemstone, I can't really verify one way or the other if this is true or not (I've never owned any jewelry with ruby before now). It is very pretty and I would totally buy it again. The gemstone itself sticks out a little because of the design of the ring, so you have to be a little careful when wearing it (it occasionally catches on clothing and I've had to watch myself when I am stocking items on shelves at work).

I found this ring and loved it right away. I was looking for something to represent my Dad, who has passed away. His birthday was in July. It is looks dainty in the pictures so I was a bit unsure. But once I put it on, it was perfect.

Cute, simple ring. Not too big or too small. Perfect for an every day wear.

I really love this little ring, I hope it is a real stone, having trouble finding one at this price. The ring is delicate and the design is unique. Will buy from seller again when looking for jewelry, I am allergic to most metals but silver seems to be fine.

The ring does have a lovely real ruby stone, but the pictures imply a certain thickness of the silver that is false. It is actually quite thin and the ring pulls out of shape easily when it catches on something, usually an item of clothing. I always keep my out for well-made true ruby, not man-made, and so was drawn to this piece. There is a reason it is not pictured on a hand. Beware.

Gem stone was cloudy and fell out only months after purchase.
