TITGGI Kaowool Fireproof Ceramic Fiber Insulation Blanket (2700F 1"x 12"x 24"), High Temperature Ceramic Fiber Blanket for Stoves, Kilns, Dishwasher & Oven Insulation

Used this kit to wrap a 6" diameter stovepipe as part of a woodstove installation connecting to a lined chimney. Never worked with ceramic insulation before, but it was pretty easy. It cuts very easily with the included knife, and 24" wide is about the right size to wrap a 6" diameter pipe. I used stainless steel straps to clinch the material around the pipe; worked great.Ceramic wool can be some nasty stuff to handle, but the included gloves did a very nice job. A facemark helps with any dust.

My chimenea is located on my porch -- and the heat can warp or burn the ballisters on the porch railing. I purchesed this to stop the heat from eascaping out of the back of the chimenea and harming the railing. Success! I use my chimenea almost everyday -- and wood fires with oak and maple logs get exceptionally hot. This stuff is easy to work with and it stopped the heat. I wish there was more provided, but they did ship what was advertised. Would buy again.

My wood stove had an installation like this one on the ceiling of it, it was all falling apart so I decided to replace it with this one, it smelled weird the first couple of days but the smell went away, so far so good

This insulation was used on my generator exhaust line to help keep the temperature down . the exhaust line was over 200 degrees but when I installed this insulation it drop down below 100 degrees and helped keep the shed cooler. It was easy to cut with scissors or a knife.

Not what I thought. There is no blanket per say, more like open insulation. Didn't use it. Maybe I didn't read the description well. I was looking for a blanket for dishwasher.

Insulation worked great around our fireplace insert.
