My wifes go to shade provider in and out of the water. We keep this hat in a bag in our car, until she needs it.

My mom is Dutch, and has a larger than average head circumference. That made finding good sun hats tricky, especially online. This one has an adjustable band to fit more head sizes, and we were delighted to find out it fit hers too! The front section has a wire, to hold the brim up for visibility, and the back has a flap that comes down to protect your neck, even when you turn. It’s great. Worth every penny!We got her the pinky-purple one so she’s easier to find on hikes. Bonus is it helps her not look like a deer to hunters, and my dad can follow her better.

I love this hat and got three of them. The price kept going up and down everyday, but it was worth it at 32 in the beginning of the summer. I get compliments everywhere I go when I am wearing it. Love it, and I tried many different styles. This was my favorite. The fit was perfect, and my head is kind of big and doesn't always fit smaller hats. I got XL in Black. Also has an adjustable strap which allows you to keep it on when windy or riding a bike.

Years ago I had to buy a hat and the store I was at didn't have a lot of options so I grabbed the sand/black color. Since then I felt torn about that hat, it was extremely comfortable, lightweight and gave excellent coverage, however I always felt ugly and stupid wearing it. The thin fabric and design gives the illusion that you have a tiny head and on top of that whenever I ran into someone with the same hat it was ALWAYS (even in the advertised photos here!) an older man wearing it. I'm in my 20's so I always felt embarrassed wearing it. After trying out different hats I finally gave in and bought the same one but blue and i'm mad that I didn't do it sooner. I still look like I have a tiny head but the color really makes me happy!

Wide brim with the best coverage of any hat I have owned. I am a small woman but have a big head and like the overall comfort of the large size. There is a velcro tightener in back but I do not use. I have white, black and beige for all seasons. Beware of Amazon purchase however. My latest arrived folded 4 times which ruined the brim. For the sun protection to work the brim has to be kept flat. You can travel with the hat in a suitcase but has to be on top of your gear with the brim relatively flat. Folded properly, this hat fits in various sizes of suit cases but, again, it is not crushable. I had to order directly from Sunday Afternoons to get the proper mailing with the brim protected. If Amazon sends to you crushed up, return!

I have a big head and this fits so comfortably. It stretches so nicely I can even tuck my pony tail under it and not sweat under the hair. A staple in Florida and I wear it everywhere.
