This is fun and it works! It is similar to Vaseline in texture, but not exactly, so it does not sit on top of your lips as do some waxy lip balms, but soaks in and moisturizes. We love the nostalgic cute tin, the light rose fragrance, the sweet subtle color, all very romantic and Victorian . . . this is a great gift for Austen fans and anyone Romantic. We kept one and couldn't resist gifting the other two. They were very well-received, as something unusual, useful, and visually appealing. : -) FYI: It does not have a taste/flavor.

Buyer beware. I had to return the first order because it was dropped off in the sun on a warm day and melted to the point I couldn’t even open it. I timed my second order to arrive early in the morning when it’s cold out. I only opened one of them so far but they seem fine. I love this stuff and am happy the second shipment is in good condition. Your lips will love you!
