I've never written a rewiew on any Amazon product I've bought before, but I wanted to write a review for this milk frother because I think it and the owner of the business are worth it. It was shipped very quickly and I didn't have to wait long before I received it. I even got an email from the owner of the company asking if I received it without any problems before I received it. The product itself is a great product. Ironically, I didn't buy it to froth milk since I'm allergic to dairy and can't drink milk. I bought it specifically to mix the bone broth powder I use every morning. In fact, I found out about this frother through reading the product reviews for that powder because people were saying that all you need to turn it into a nice froth is a good milk frother. So I looked through the selection on Amazon, and decided the Power Lix milk frother was the best one for the most affordable price. I've used it several times already and it's worked to perfection to do what I need it to do, which is turn a protein powder into a nice froth without any clumps that's easy to drink. It's so powerful that I don't even need to use boiling or very hot water, or a blender, as many people have suggested. It makes my life easier. All you have to do is put the batteries in, fill up a cup with some liquid part way, submerge the frother into it, and press the button, and it does the rest. Hold the button as long as it takes to turn the liquid and/or powder into a perfect froth. If that wasn't good enough, the customer service is also top notch. Jennifer, the owner, has sent me several personal messages through Amazon asking how I'm doing with the product and if there's anything she can do to help or answer any questions. She clearly cares about her customers and wants to make sure they have a great experience with her product. For anyone who's thinking about buying this product or any other products she offers in the future, I think that's an added incentive.

So far the frother is working very well, but it has only been 5 days. It was to replace an identical PowerLix frother that quit working well shortly after we got it. We made due with it but the push-button was temperamental - worked sometimes and didn’t other times. However, our son has one and his works well, so we thought we would buy another one. We use ours just about every day, so we will see how long it lasts.

This is a good little blender to mix up protein powder in the mornings. Unfortunately, my first one stopped working appropriately after about two months and appeared to have a short even after changing out the batteries. I was able to reach out to the company and sent them a video of the problem and they sent a replacement quickly! It is easy to clean and use. My 4 year old likes to mix her protein milk with it. If you keep it in the cup, there is no spillage and it froths well if you bring it up more towards the top. Gives the illusion of more in the glass for the young ones who think they need a lot.

I make a chai tea latte most mornings and this has worked like a charm frothing milk to go in it. I've had it since this summer and the first set of batteries lasted for a bit over 3 months using it almost every day, certainly no less than 5 times a week. If you're not getting the same type of froth as easily as you once were, a change of batteries will perk it right back up. I think it takes a lot to kill a good set of batteries in this, I have been changing them when I notice a significant loss in speed, not because the batteries are completely dead. I was trying to nail down how my chai tea latte tasted best, along with how to keep the calories the lowest. So thru my many different combos I have used this to froth 2% milk, 1 % milk, soy milk, vanilla soy milk, unsweetened soy milk, almond milk, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, regular oat milk and low fat oat milk. All have been able to froth, it's just a matter of milk temperature and technique to get it to froth and foam. Watch a few videos on YouTube if you're not sure, it definitely helped me with technique. It varies widely on the best way, but if you aren't having success, try warming it up or frothing for a longer amount of time. And sometimes you may think you've done that and you're still not getting results, but it's honestly quite likely, you need the milk to be hot, not just warm. In my experience the plant milks froth fine at warm temps, but 1% and 2% need to be hot in order to get it to froth and foam the way you most likely want. It will look like it's doing something when it's at a warm temp, but once you finish frothing, you'll likely see flat bubbles that will disappear quickly. So adjust the milk temperature if you're not seeing the froth or foam that you want and expect to see. Also, I'm not sure if every frother has this, but the stand that comes with it is absolute perfection and is worth paying a slightly higher price to get. I hadn't considered it when choosing which one to buy and now I never want to have this without it. Such a convenient, inconspicuous storage option, just sits right on the counter and gets little attention. Highly recommend this milk frother. I wasn't sure I made a mistake when I first ordered this after seeing so many videos with people using the plug-in automated ones, but I'm thrilled I went with this first. It was completely unnecessary to spend 2 to 3 times as much for the other ones and this takes up less space and is much, much easier to clean.

Impressive! I got this to mix matcha tea, but haven't tried it for that yet. I first used it with ON protein powder, and it worked wonderfully, blending the powder pretty much instantly into my cold rice/coconut/almond milk. I usually have to stir it with a spoon for 2 minutes, then let it sit. This was maybe a minute of blending, and perfect. I'll point out that ON protein powder is "instantized" so you don't have to use a real blender, so I can't vouch for how it works with less fine powders. I rinsed the metal portion and it was sitting on my counter today when I was making coffee, so I thought "why not?" I don't really care too much about foaming milk for coffee, but now maybe I do! I could even just make milk "steamers" with this! I took some photos, and this isn't even with full dairy milk. It was again rice/coconut/almond milk (this time hot) with a few flavored Coffeemate creamers and two half and halfs (the kind you get at a restaurant or convenience store). The unfrothed milk reached almost halfway up the glass, and after blending I could hardly add any coffee it was so poofy! The last picture is after I drank some, stirred it well with a spoon, added more coffee, and drank half the glass. Still significant foam! The only way this product could be improved is by making it submersible. I don't feel like I'll be able to wash it properly, because the top will get dirty no matter what, and it's only wipe clean for that portion. If there were the same product you could fully wash, I'd pay extra, easily double, for it. I personally don't care too much about stuff like that, but it's something buyers should consider. Also, the little metal ring where the blending wand goes into the plastic battery/engine housing is a little loose and wiggly, but I'm assuming it won't cause a problem, especially since I can't clean that part and it shouldn't go into the beverage anyway. TL,DR: This product does what it promises, does it well, and is a reasonable price (now two bucks more than a month ago, almost 20% increase, but still good). If it keeps working for a month, I plan to buy another as a backup. The company also seems very interested in your satisfaction. They sent messages with directions (also on the box, where I saw them), which are important, so pay attention! I didn't try it until well after their messages because we've been quarantining packages. But they wanted to make sure I got the right product and everything was fine with my order. Always a good sign, so much appreciated!

This review is for New Double whisk + Improve Motor - PowerLix Milk Frother (Milk Pro), which replaced a similar device that had a few week lifespan (purchased from that major department store chain from Sweden). Despite having the 19k rpm motor (overkill for my usage), this design works great for stirring my tea/coffee (especially my paleo recipe that includes coconut and unsalted butter). On the Milk Pro model, the button on this unit must be pressed to keep the motor active, this allows you to quickly stop stirring before anything spills over the top of your cup. I also found the stand fits perfectly on top of an expresso saucer (to catch the drips falling off the double whisk). The stand is a nice addition as our prior device had the shaft end up ever so slightly bent from laying it on it's side using that same saucer to catch drips. I also like this better then the other models where the button is on until you push it again to turn it off. While that is probably great for frothing a large volume of milk or whipping eggs, it is not a feature I want for stirring coffee in a cup were I may need to cut power quickly to avoid slinging coffee everywhere. The battery compartment does NOT require a screwdriver to access, and the cover snaps closed without issue. It uses 2xAA batteries for power. Hopefully I'll never have to use the lifetime warranty, but it's nice to know it has one if I do need it for some reason. If any issues arise, I'll update my review ** see below. 4 week update - we are starting to see issues with the activation button. Sometimes it does not work at all when pressing the button, other times it acts like the battery is almost dead (even with a fresh set) and stirs very slowly and sometimes eventually getting up to speed (but not always). Device is probably used 4-6 times a day to stir coffee/tea. Update: Life happens. Along with lots of folks around the world, 2020 became a personal financial disaster for my family, and required our full focus on other things. Following up on a whisk was quickly forgotten until this month when I finally got around to emailing Power-Lix Customer Service ( [email protected] ). For reference, that was 1year and 2 weeks after my original purchase on Amazon. They responded the next day and even before we discussed any details - they assured me they would do whatever it took to take care of my issue, and they specifically stated that they were happy to send me a replacement right away. One more round of emails over the next two days (needed my Amazon order # and address info), and my replacement was on the way at no cost to me. In total, it was only six days from my initial email until I had the replacement whisk in hand. *It would have been much shorter had I just included the Amazon order number and my address information in my initial email. Even though the initial device failed, I'm still upping my review to 5 stars because they honored their lifetime warranty. I think it's fair to give them the benefit of the doubt, and assume my initial experience was a one-off issue. If this one fails, I'll update my review accordingly.

Product worked flawlessly for 11 months and just stopped. Made a warranty claim and they were remarkably responsive. Received a replacement unit in short order.
