I used to use the L'oreal Infallible gel eyeliner pot in "Espresso," however they seem to have discontinued that. I liked it because it would stay on my somewhat greasy skin better than others while not having the blobbing, cracking, and drying effect of liquid 24-hour liners. Now that I can't get my favorite, I have been searching for a gel liner that actually comes in BROWN, which this does! It was a nice brown, not quite as dark as an espresso. This is a chocolaty brown with some reds in it. I mixed some with one of my old black experimental liners, and I got exactly the color I wanted. The texture of this liner is creamy but it sets up quickly. It will wash off, but not easily. I was hoping it would last all day, but it gets me through about 5 hours before my eyelids crease it and it smudges.

My first time using gel liner. The best eyeliner I've ever used. I'll never use pencil or liquid eyeliner again. It dries quickly (not as quick as liquid but fast enough). Pencil eyeliner always smudged and ran for me. I control exactly how much eyeliner goes on the applicator, unlike liquid that would leave blobs of eyeliner on my lashes then dry and cause my lashes to be stuck together. Liquid also flaked off and I could never get a straight even line. I like to draw a light faint line on first to mark where it's going then go back over it more heavily. It's easy to correct if I do make a mistake. Easy to remove at night. I use hemp seed oil and a baby wipe to remove my eye make up. I ordered brown which was more like dark brown but it works for my dark brown eyes. I'm trying the plum color next, if it ever comes back in stock.

I switched to gel pot liners. No more dried out pencils or sharpening and scratching my eye lid. This is so much more able to be artisticly thin, accurate, and the colors are gorgeous.

I was looking for a true red liner. What is shown in the picture is a true red. What arrived in the mail is an orange-red. I did some small swatch lines on the back of my hand and here are some pros and cons: Cons: - Not the right or promised color. I don’t know if this will be able to be used with the eyeshadows I had intended to use it with. They are true red or blue-reds, so this will likely clash badly. - Expensive for getting the wrong color - The included brushes are crap. Don’t use them. I already have my own brushes, but still. - This dries super fast, so you have very minimal working time on skin, for things like blending or smudging. - This can be very difficult to remove. Use a hood oil-based remover and you can get 99% off at least. Pros: - This liner does not budge once it is dry and it dries fast. For days when you need to get done fast, this is a good liner to use. - My pot of liner is soft, creamy, and an absolute delight to sweep across skin. No tugging or pulling. - Using a good brush allows for thick or thin lines with almost no effort. - The amount is very generous

perfect texture and color for my inner corners. it stays sturdy but at the same time it can get stuck to eyelashes. i love it though.

So at first, this was a pretty nice product. It went on smooth and stayed on, but I did consistently have issues with it transferring to my upper lid and it does not work well if you try to re-apply (it will essentially just take off the whole first layer). After only about 4 months, it completely crapped out. I noticed it wasn't gliding on easily or smoothly anymore, and it is extremely flaky. It's like it tried out or the consistently just doesn't do well after being exposed to air. I had to finally throw it away after a few weeks of frustration and am going back to a named brand.

Excellent product....stays on until you take it off...does not affect eyes.

Many years ago I used to use gel eye liner then changed to pencils. Decided to try it again, chose this one after reading lots of reviews. It arrived well packaged with a foil cover under the lid. Perfectly fresh product, soft and smooth and glides on easily. I don't use the tiny brushes that came with it as find it easier to use the long, fine brush from my own kit. Super colour, stayed on all day without smudging but washed off easily. Recommended and would buy again at this good price.
