Arvazallia Argan Oil for Hair Treatment Leave in Treatment & Conditioner

I decided to try some hair mask products, and in my search, I stumbled across several reviews of Arvazallia and what appeared to be legit before and after pictures. I also noticed this product had an AMAZING introductory price on Amazon. So I figured–why the hell not? I bought the hair conditioning mask and the oil treatment. After purchasing, I received several follow up emails from Arvazallia, who appear to be extremely invested in the satisfaction of their customers. Shorty after that, the product arrived in the mail. Simple, easy to use packaging that wasn’t leaking (plus!) and it smelled HEAVENLY! I’ve tried other argan products in the past (will review them eventually as well) but none have smelled this wonderful. Between the great price and the fabulous scent, I was hoping the product would perform. I have since used the hair mask 4 times (twice a week since it arrived) and have used the oil treatment every day for 2 weeks. If your hair isn’t as treacherous as mine, you could probably use the hair mask once a week or twice a month or once a month or whatever suits your hair care needs. The treatment only takes 5 minutes, however, due to how damaged my hair is, I did my treatments: 30 minutes, overnight, 30 minutes, overnight. I figured . . . why not? Might be overkill if you hair is generally healthy, though. The oil I used daily on the ends of my hair only, which gave a nice immediate improvement in appearance. Things I love about this product: Smells fantastic, easy to use, leaves hair smooth and manageable, perfect packaging means no leaks that waste the product (considering how often this happens with beauty products, it’s worth mentioning). Quality and Value are also worth mentioning, at least at the price I bought this at. The price was unbeatable compared to similar products and a little goes a long way, so I can see this lasting me a long time. The mask may go a little quicker than the oil, only because so little oil is needed for the hair and you get so much of it, but also because I am using the mask twice a week which is probably not necessary for most people. However, I did notice that the first time I used the mask, my hair seemed to soak it all in so much that I needed to use quite a bit, but after that, the moisture in my hair was so improved that I needed much less conditioner on subsequent applications. It’s also worth mentioning that my results are NOT due to suddenly conditioning my hair every day when I wasn’t before. I have been doing a deep treatment conditioning of my hair for months now in the same manner and using hair oils for a couple months now (and I’ve always only washed my hair once a week–before you say eww, this is actually REALLY healthy for your hair.) Those products DID give me results, however, I would say that this product did for my hair in 2 weeks what those products took 4 months to do for me, and I think by this point I was capped out on what those products could do for me. I also had to use a detangler then, but I no longer need one! So . . . yeah, I guess I’m a fan of Arvazallia now! That said, what I find impressive and what you find impressive may differ. My hair problems might also be different from yours. My hair is INSANELY dry and the dead ends have gone to epic extremes, so my hair needed this. All that said, I will now let the before and after results speak for themselves. I've ordered this hair oil multiple times. You only need a small amount and it really helps hydrate your hair. If you're too heavy handed it will make your hair heavy and oily, but that is true of any hair oil. This makes my hair glossy and healthy looking, and it smells nice.

I was desperate to find an affordable product that would help my long, fine, and flyaway hair to settle down! I recently moved from a humid climate in the southeast to the southwest desert and my hair now snaps, crackles, and pops sending sparks zipping through the air. When you were a kid, did you ever rub a balloon on your hair to produce static electricity, which then caused your hair to stand up? Well, that is my hair in the desert sans balloon. Not pretty! My hair attaches itself to my clothing and floats in the air up around my ears! I've moisturized and conditioned. I've applied other products but either of two things happened, after an hour or so my hair would be dancing around my ears again or it was limp and oily looking! I want silky, soft, shiny, calm, and in its place hair; not oily-limp. This Argan Oil does the trick on my hair. It is now smooth and shiny! I apply the oil while my hair is still damp after shampooing and conditioning. I smooth the oil on the ends of my hair from ear level to the tips. I particularly pay attention to the very ends making sure to apply enough oil to not just tame but treat them. I don't apply the oil all the way to the scalp on a daily basis. I do however use this oil once per week on my scalp. I apply it directly to my scalp, this takes several squirts. I rub it in well and leave it on while I do things about the house. Later, I shampoo and condition and then reapply the oil as described above. I also apply this oil on my skin. Since moving to the desert, I'm about to dry up and blow away with the tumbleweeds! One morning, after doing my hair I was enjoying the feeling of the oil on the palms of my hands. So, I pumped a bit more and smoothed it on the back of my hands. Ooh! I pumped a bit more and smoothed the oil over my forehead. Ahh! From then on, I went crazy and dobbed it around my eyes, cheeks, and throat, avoiding the T-zone area. I love this stuff. I'm old enough to be past breakouts to my skin so using it thus is not a problem for me. I also don't apply it to my skin on a daily basis as I have facial moisturizers with sunscreen that I love and use. However, this argan oil feels marvelous on my skin! It's great on my nails and cuticles. And you know what else? I've used it on my feet! At first, I just rubbed some in and then I had the brilliant idea, well, I thought it was brilliant, of putting a few pumps in a pan of water, and soaking my feet in it! Ding, ding, winner! This oil smells fabulous! The fragrance is warm and soft. It isn't an overpowering, make your eyes water, and your nose sneeze kind of scent. It's soft and wafting. Which is a darned good thing since I now am covered in it...head to toe. You might laugh but you know where else I use this amazing oil? On my dog's fly-away hair! Yes, I do! Boone is a Shih-Tzu and the hair on his long tail and ears is also acting up and flying around in this desert clime, hey, he can't be walking around looking like that! I'm a good dog-mother and will not let my little guy be embarrassed in the neighborhood! This great product works on his hair too! And he looks, hot! I highly recommend this product if you have a similar need to mine...and Boone's!

This oil gives the ends of my hair so much life and shine! My hair is fairly long, reaching my waist. For years I had problems with my scalp getting oily fast, but the ends being dry and dull. This oil feels lightweight after applying just a small amount, and a little goes a long way! I even use the extra on my hands and nail cuticles after applying to the bottom half of my hair. I would give this 5 stars if the formula hadn't changed recently. I've been purchasing this hair oil for a couple years now. One bottle lasts me around 4-6 months. I re-purchased this in February and still had some of the last drops left from my last bottle, which gave me the opportunity to compare the new formula to the old. Its always had a fragrance, but now the fragrance is stronger and a heavier scent. It's nice, but the fragrance lingers a lot longer than the previous formula. While I like it, it's not what I expected or prefer. I'll be giving this new bottle to a loved one so it doesn't go to waste! Still a great product even though the fragrance isn't my cup of tea. :)

I would usually think an oil would be too heavy for my hair. It's blonde, and it has gotten drier through the years, but I don't want to weigh it down. After shampoo/condition I sprayed my Miracle 10 for blondes underneath and on the bottom half of my hair to the ends. That's more of a conditioning spray. I have to use something else to avoid flyaways. I used the Argan oil while it was still damp, and I noticed my hair was silkier and more manageable. I took a chance and used it this morning on dry hair, since the bottom half looked a little dry, and the top had a few strands sticking up. I don't shampoo every day, because I have long hair and don't want to dry it out any more than necessary. It did just what I wanted - added a little shine and made it look less dry before I touched it up. I used maybe a dime size on my palm, rubbed my hands together and spread it lightly over a section, then repeated as needed. I probably did that three times in all, different areas. I thought it would be better than too much at once. This is a keeper! I'd order again. Update: I went out of town without it. I used my Coppola Keratin shampoo and conditioner as usual. My hair did NOT do as well!!!! I used my Argan oil night before last and even went to bed with it wet. It's usually out of control looking the next morning. It didn't look bad straight out of bed, but I flat-ironed it as usual. The next morning I almost didn't have to do anything to it!! It looked soft, shiny, and was behaving great. I have almost zero frizziness when using the Argan oil. I'm a firm believer now. It amazes me that I can even reapply to dry hair when needed, and it doesn't weigh it down. Obviously, I don't overdo it, but I still use more than I'd think I could get by with. I compared it to another brand, which has great reviews - the HSI, since I have that flat iron. I used the HSI brand twice to give it a chance, then went back to this one. This one wins hands down - can't believe the difference. My sister bragged on my hair yesterday when I used it, and I didn't use the conditioning spray first. (I still use a thermal spray after it's dry, before I flat-iron.) No other brand from now on!!! I think this one's even less, and you get a good size for the money.

Update Dec. 2020: I am STILL in love with this oil. It’s been over 7 years since I started using this product and I’ve used about 5 bottles. I’ve told countless friends about how amazing this stuff is and got many of them hooked on it. I’ve since bleached my hair for the past 5 years and it made my bleached hair as soft and as manageable as my untreated, undyed, natural brunette hair. I hope they never discontinue this product because it is my holy grail beauty product. The one downside to the product packaging I’ve noticed over the years is that you can’t travel well with it as others have noted. That is the only thing I would change! Or make a travel size bottle that will contain this oil! I’ve tried putting it in other containers for travel and it always seeps out somehow. Original posting: First, let me start off by saying I rarely write reviews. But this product is amazing. Before I used this product: I am 20 years old. My hair has never been dyed/colored/chemically treated. I would describe my hair as regular-to-fine strands with not super thick hair. My hair will pretty much do anything I want it to as far as straightening with an iron (stays straight on less humid days--I live in Florida) and curling with an iron (stays with no hairspray). When I was younger I had fairly straight hair but it curled right up when I hit puberty. I never knew what to do with it in middle school so I fried the crap out of it. It took me until high school to embrace the wavy-curly that my hair had become. My hair has always been pretty soft especially when I straighten it--definitely not coarse hair. In college I started taking care of my hair and skin a lot more but still used heat tools occasionally for events and special occasions. It had become this curly-at-the-top-straight-at-the-bottom ordeal and I was not so thrilled. I'm terrible at blowing out my hair with a brush so that it would all be smooth so I would usually end up with a weird wave in the back. MY HAIR NOW: I found this product watching a hair tutorial on YouTube by MakeupWearables. She raved about it but my hair is nothing like hers. I decided to try it anyways and bought both the Oil treatment and the deep conditioner. OH. MY. GOSH. I have been using them for about a month or so now and this is probably one of my favorite beauty products I've ever purchased. They both smell amazing... kind of like a salon. They both make your hair super soft, really manageable, and my favorite part was that they kind of straightened out the waves I was having problems with. Now I use 4 pumps of the Argan oil (chest/breast-length hair) and finger comb it through my hair before blowdrying. It speeds up drying time, protects the hair, and prevents my hair from being a wavy mess like every other time. I would HIGHLY recommend this to everyone and anyone.

My second bottle I just bought is not like the first. I received my first ever bottle of this argan hair oil from a friend. I used it on my curly hair and loved it. It worked just as well as Moroccan oil and it smelled really great, in my opinion. When I ran out of the first bottle I’d been gifted I bought a new bottle on Amazon. This new bottle looks very similar, the texture and oil looked similar to the first bottle I’d used, but it hardly has any smell at all. I was so disappointed. I used to get compliments on how lovely my hair smelled when I put this oil on, but now the smell is just not there. I will not be repurchasing this oil, nor will I be recommending it to anyone else.
