Perfect
So I can't say much for the colored temp zones...I don't pay attention to that. But it is extremely accurate. Tested it along side of my probe thermometer and it's dead on. I replaced the one that came with my smoker because it got condensation inside of it because I failed to cover it once it cooled and it drizzled sometime through the night. Very happy with my purchase, fit perfectly and couldn't find one in a store for this price. Good purchase.

know your temp
I have a broilmate grill, not a real large one. It has a temp gauge built in to the top of it. I could never gauge the temperature for cooking. I bought some of those gauges that one sits on the grill and they would give me the right temperature but the glass and inside of the gauge would fog over from the grease burning off. I finally bought two of these. I had to modify the grill a little bit. The ones I bought were a little too long and interfered with the a top grate that lowers as the lid of the grill lowers. I tried to consider that before ordering and missed on the length of the probe a little. I drilled holes in the front grill lid to get the probes to mount close to the bottom grill grates. The bottom grill grates are stainless replacement grates, not original. One hole on each side of the front grill lid. I had to notch the top grill grate to let the lid come down. This should not be an issue as long as I do not overload the top grate. I have been grilling only a few times and I adjust the temp to be somewhere between 350 and 375. I try to keep it within 50 degrees of that. It seems to work fairly well. It may be nice to have one of these gauges near the back of the grill also which I do not have. My grilling seems to work better now with these temp gauges. The minute one opens the grill lid the temperature drops quickly and it takes time for the grill to get back to temperature. I need a few more times grilling to really know how things work. Right now I am grilling chicken breast, large sausages and a butternut squash. I'll have to see how it all works. I am guessing an hour on the chicken and the squash.

Big bold reading for thermometer
The grill gauge looks like made of heavy duty stainless steel, the reading is clear and bold so it's allowing me to read the temperature easily. It got rain and shine but no rust. It's easy to install and set up, the size is perfect for the small grill I have. This grill temperature gauge is made out of stainless steel, which is sturdy and rust resisting, a safety and durability for your family. Highly recommended!

Accurate!
My smoker grill was made by a local miami welder “Brownsville Grills” who initially installed a 3” thermometer that just wasn’t working... it never moved past 175. I started using one of my two digital probes just to monitor the smoker temp; what a waste of my probe! When I spotted this Dozyant 2” thermometer here in Amazon the colorful face and smaller dial caught my eye. It’s inexpensive, so I figured I’d give it a chance. Last week I discarded the old one, and installed this Dozyant. On its first use I placed my digital probe from Thermoworks right near it in the smoker. I’m very impressed that the little Dozyant reports exactly the same temperature. It’s perfectly accurate. The probe stick is a bit longer than the old one, but luckily it clears the grate on the inside. I’m quite happy with this purchase. I’m even happy with the smaller size... it’s a perfect fit for my grill.
