Works just fine as a wiring harness but the diagram that comes with it is incorrect, stating green black twice as well as not having grey black. For someone buying this that hasn’t wired radios before this is a big problem. Ignore the wiring diagram and just match up the colours and everything should work

It's great and gets the job done. The only thing I could ask for is detailed instructions that tell you where you can easily locate a 12V wire that is controlled by the ignition switch to connect that red wire. If you have a multimeter, you can certainly figure it out easily enough. I found a connector just below the dashboard that had a suitable wire.

Works perfectly in my 2017 Ram 1500. A little bit annoying the ignition cable is separate but I was able to tap into my cigarette lighter easy enough

I was a bit leery about trying this adapter as it didn't have many reviews . It arrived fully packaged with instructions and all wires ready to go. The Vehicle: I installed it in my '17 ram 1500 which had the stock radio with sirius radio. (your install may need a fakra to sirius adapter for the sirius radio to work.) The Kit: You only use one side of the new adapter (the ram has 2 different pin types on the same plug) The wires all matched up perfectly and didn't need any re pinning. The red wire is for your switched power, it goes from your new deck/ radios red plug wire to a switched 12v source. In my case the Ram has 2 cig lighters/charge ports, the one on the left closest the steering wheel is switched power, also on the plug covers it shows a key or a battery so it's pretty simple to see which is which. I took the red wire from this pack and went from my new deck/Radio harness (not this harness) to a wire tap on the red wire of the cig lighter, You can push the whole cig lighter out from behind so you can access the wires better. Once that was done and everything was TESTED BEFORE FINAL INSTALL, I bolted everything back together and it works flawlessly! I used it to install a Pioneer AVH-8400BH 2 Din DVD/media player.
