I usually don't write product reviews, and I was skeptical when I purchased this amazing alarm door stop, but I was wrong. This doorstop alarm is built, and the alarm is VERY loud. I will definitely buy it again. I'm surprised that every motel/hotel doesn't have one in each room. Ladies, buy one for your own security, especially in the world we're living in. I would definitely suggest to buy. Don't be skeptical.

Awesome product - Very inexpensive way to protect yourself and your belongings from thieves. They are very loud so no fear of not waking up.

Even double-bolt locks can be picked, so for most of us our homes can be entered by a skilled criminal. With this inexpensive alarm, however, they can't enter without sounding a high decibel alarm of 124db -- 125db is the pain threshold of noise. It's enough to wake the dead. So, the intruder immediately realizes that the resident knows that the door has been breached. I for one will be wide awake and heavily armed before the interloper gets to my bedroom. The very best alarm is a vigilant dog, but this alarm requires no maintenance.

I already had this and bought more to give in adult children/grandchildren Christmas stockings. They all loved them.

This alarm isn't loud at all. Not what I expected. Maybe it's defective.

Did not fit the door

I kept two of these for my front door and bedroom...gave one to my daughter to use in her apt. I wil be ordering more for the rest of my family. Helps to have this extra alarm to help alert people.. I do have two dogs and they can hear people outside too.

Although it looks kind of unpromising, I guarantee that this is a very useful safety product if you are having a small budget. When kept under door this retricts from opening the door. Have to place a battery for the alarm. And trust me the alarm sound is quite frightening, so I guess this will definitely frighten the inwanted intruders. There is a on/off button so you can also turn it off if you do not want it. I also use this , so that kids can not enter my office during meeting. Its a veru useful product. Definitely recommend.

Perfect for travel and staying safe

This works so well. I forgot it was there the first morning, opened the hotel door and it immediately jammed and screamed so loudly I got such a shock. But that means it works perfectly. My mum loved it so much when I visited home and showed her that she kept it, so I'm going to have to order a new one for myself. Highly recommend. Makes me feel much safer as I do a lot of travelling.

This is effective and very loud. Can also use it without alarm as a barrier to entering. Very easy to carry with you when travelling etc.
