I bought this as i had gone into using candles to aid with heating our front room up and didnt want to rely on messy petrol lighters.This gadget is pretty good while it does take a little time to light anything, its safe, you have only an electric arc to worry about.Its got a good reach to reach the wick of most candles i think, fast to charge.The only negatives i have area) it can get clogged, so will need a regular cleanb) One charge does not last longb) Can be fiddly to light the wick.That saida) its quick to charge, i think 20 minutes or so to get full chargeb) easily and safely stored in a stationary tidyc) uses micro USB to chargeIt has a safey switch to turn off.Defo worth the money i think, i'd certainly buy another.

Safe and effective. Much easier than dealing with matches or gas lighters. The long neck makes it great for candles in jars, and I like that there’s no open flame. Charges quickly and works every time.

This is great for those almost done Yankee candles in the big jars. Also. Good for lighting at a distance. Charges well and lasts a while

I would not recommend this item to anyone. It's not a flame, it's two metal length and when you press the button it sparks up joining the two metal bars together with a spark. Trying to get it onto the candle can take so long it switches itself off. Big Yankee candles were especially hard to light with this but the same can be said for tea lights. I was expecting a flame like all the other candle lighters and if that were the case it would be 5 stars. I gave the battery life 1 star because I haven't used it long enough to judge it and that's the only reason I have done that. Electricity conducts was not my idea of a candle lighter. Maybe I missed something in the description of the product, in which case that's my bad but I'm so disappointed with it. On a positive it looks great, it's so easy to just press a button rather than clicking away at something to try to spark it up and the fact it's a USB cable to recharge is fantastic. I will persevere with it and if anything changes I will put in a review. Maybe the electric type lighter is safer than a flame but it's just so tricky to get the thing in the right spot to light the candle. Again, looks great, the quality of the product is excellent, it feels good in my hand and button is way easier than clicking as if you're trying to spark up a dying lighter!! I really don't like giving 1⭐️reviews so hopefully I can change that in time.
