I Know I wrote a review on this product, I said I was going to update it and I can't find it. I'm doing another one then. First this is a great Product, I have been using it for 3 weeks every morning with orange juice (Vit C) before coffee. It does not smell and it does not have any taste. It mixes excellent in my blender before and after juice. My skin is solfter and I have more energy. I lost pounds since using it because i'm full after i drink it with orange juice (8 oz) and then coffee that I can't eat until way later. The worst part is that now my husband has been using it, Now I have less for me. Got to share it more often form now on. Company gave me a 15% percent code discont, that going to help me a lots. My husband has BP and he uses his med for years. they help but it was not until he started to use this that he said he has no more problems at night anymore. I told him that between all his meds and health Vit. that this probably boosted them and that why he doesn't have anymore trouble emptying his Bladder. He also uses a chinnese product call oyster-ball and I guess that oyster fish has also help fix his problem. So Here I am traveling and before I leave I need to re-order and have it ship to where I'm going. It anything changes I will be updating. Oh By the way, You can,t find better ingredient for this price on any other brand. I really did my research. That why my husband took over the product when he saw the ingredient. Believe me he is really smart with heath food ingredients. Update JAN 25,2018: I still buy this product and I love it. I drink it every morning after my coffee with orange juice. I put it in blender with 4oz of orange juice and i dont feel any after taste or smell. March/2019 We love it! My mom is taking it now. She lives in P.R and had no problem with shipping. She has more energy now that all the senior at her elderly senior living. She goes up/ down stairs regularly. She hates the elevator. She says nothing hurts and I’m non stop with energy. She bought 2 bottles cause she don’t want to run out. She was telling me she feel better then the young people. They all have something hurting. Lol. Now my next door neighbor bought a collagen brand for $80. I took my product and campare it with hers. To keep it short her product only have 3g with 600 mg of collagen. Mine have 10g. Mine is organic. Meaning no hormones, grass fed animal, deep fish. the right amount of peptides your body need. To high of peptides will just be and expense urine with no benefits to you. She will be buying this one from now on. This is a small company doing everything right vs a large company who don’t care what you think. This company responded to my emails in a flash I love that they know I’m a person and I get my response by a person. I hate companies that send you website that have thier pre written answers. I feel great with the only side effect that I look better, have more energy, my joints don’t hurt anymore and I save a lot of money by buying this one instead of $80. Of junk big brand name.

Thanks to reviewers who gave detailed explanations as why they preferred this Marine collagen over many others, I bought it....This product had zero odor and zero taste. I immediately took one scoop and put it in a glass with some acerola powder...a little stevia...then added a bit of hot water, stirred, then immediately added cold water which left no powder unblended.... Powder mixed well into the water and it tasted fine. I felt my hair and fingernails could benefit from more collagen. Given I don't eat beef and not much chicken, marine collagen seemed like a perfect solution. Just glad this has no odor, no taste. Above is my review when I first got the product I have since completed my first container and I've altered the way I drink it. I add a scoop of collagen to a mug, then add very hot water, plus a few teaspoons of nutritional yeast...I then add a scoop of green powder. It blends very well without clumping if I keep stirring rapidly. Actually tastes really good. I've gotten to the point where I'm craving this beverage...It contains a lot of healthy ingredients. My very weak thin nails are improving and not peeling anymore and my energy level is amazing. My joints aren't exactly perfect as of yet, and I still have some aches and pains, but I'm about to buy my second container right now, so hoping for continued improvement. At first I didn't drink this every day, but for the past two weeks, daily. First time in years that I've had 10 fingernails all the same length. October 2019 Update...I wanted to try the bovine collagen to compare it with the marine collagen...so I bought a 30 day supply of the Amandean bovine formula...Followed the same protocol as with the marine collagen...a tsp of powdered vitamin C (non citrus based) mixed it with1 tsp of nutritional yeast and a scoop of the bovine powder...Honestly, my joints started aching from the bovine within t wo days......I don't know why, I don't really understand it but it's possible the peptides in the marine collagen are different...more easily absorbed, at least for me.......I'm going to stick with the marine collagen...I feel it suits me far better than the bovine...I was always curious if these two collagens were different...Obviously the way they work in my body makes a huge difference... August 2020 Another update. I have now gone through 6 containers of this collagen. I'm almost 78 and someone stopped me today and asked me "what do you use on your face?" I really was surprised because I honestly have zero wrinkles...no sagging...and I once did but my skin is obviously benefitting from using collagen every day. I feel my arms aren't as wrinkly...You know that giggly part of the arm that can get wobbly when you haven't been lifting weights...Well, I never lifted weights and my only workout is getting on an exercise bike or bouncing on a rebounder. Only major thing I've done in my diet is to lower my carb intake and to take marine collagen every day. I have since recommended this product to at least 6 people...mostly women who were looking for skin, hair and nails benefits...My hair looks much better since I'm taking this product but it didn't happen overnight nor has my hair grown like a weed. I'm still a senior citizen and I don't expect my thinning hair to return to my once thick hair as a 20 year old. This is just a formula I believe in...I've honestly seen benefits in my digestive system and people are remarking how good my skin has been looking....Lately I've just been adding the collagen powder to water...plus a green powder, various different mushroom powders (by Host Defense), a probiotic powder, a mixed berry powder, a squirt of lemon juice and I just drink it...Starts my day off with nutrients....I still eat breakfast an hour or so later. I feel really good!

I've been using this brand for about 4 years, on and off. I really wanted to wait a good long while to see real results before reviewing. So, here it is. For starters, one needs to understand that you can't simply add this to your hot coffee (or any other hot beverage). Collagen degrades at 160 degrees F - at which point you're just drinking gelatin. You should use hot tap water or a temp-controlled kettle and make sure you're not heating it past 155 if you can help it. If it's too cool, however, it won't dissolve fully and you'll have to contend with chunks. Another thing to mention is chemical activation. Collagen works so much better with vitamin C, so I opt to drink this every morning in hot lemon water made with a fresh lemon. This not only cuts the fishy flavor, but gives you the vitamin C you need, kick-starts digestion, and helps to prevent kidney stones from the high calcium content known to be present in marine collagens from shellfish. This product is made with fish, so I'm unsure if that's really an issue here. Okay, so once you've understood how to make collagen perform it's best, take it religiously and daily. Within one week, you'll notice smoother, suppler skin. After a few months, you'll notice a significant decrease in wrinkles. After a year, you'll notice less joint pain and you'll probably find you need less moisturizers and body lotion. At least that's been my experience so far. The results are more than I care to go into depth with, but this stuff is the bomb. I'm 39 and everyone thinks I'm in my twenties thanks to this product, a supplement regimen, drinking lots of water (collagen makes you thirstier than normal), a healthy diet, and normal sleep cycles. I've even stopped wearing makeup entirely because of how incredible my skin looks without it. BUY THIS PRODUCT NOW! You won't regret it!

Overall, it’s a great product. The taste isn’t the best on its own, but mixing it with a flavored drink makes it much easier to enjoy. I usually add my collagen to warm water, mix in some flavored water enhancer, let it settle, then top it off with cool water before drinking.

This is the best collagen I've ever tried! It does have a fishy smell to it but that doesn't make or break it for me. I put in my coffee with creamer and it does mask the fishy taste. Nobody ever said beauty tastes good 😂🤷‍♀️ it makes my hair shiny and healthy, my nails grow, my eyebrows have even shown growth after using it for 2 months! It dissolves great in hot and cool (not cold) liquids but dissolves best in hot liquid. Easy to digest as well and doesn't upset my stomach. I will continue to purchase! I love this stuff! Also a great price for what it is!!

I researched numerous marine collagen products before I decided to go with this one. My initial reason for looking into collagen was to help with some issues I have been dealing with from a fall as well as cosmetically (adding elasticity back into my 5 decade old skin. As of the writing on this review, I’m going on my 11th week of taking this marine collagen. I can not say enough positive things about this product. To date, my personal experiences has gotten 5 people in my circle on this marine collagen. First, my skin is A-MAZING. Seriously, not one wrinkle on my face; the crows feet that were beginning to appear are now gone. I had read a few reviews where people mentioned that their skin was glowing from the product. I took that particular review with a grain of salt (glowing? Really? Whatever). Well, my skin has a ‘glow’ to it. I can’t explain it. A couple of co-workers even mentioned it. I’ll take it, no complaints here. Let’s talk the real, life changing benefits. Three main areas I have seen positive results. Prior to starting the collagen, I was developing arthritis in one of my fingers. I was unable to bend it completely & it was painful (not outrageously so but it hurt). A few weeks into the collagen & i no longer have this issue. My finger is back to normal. Secondly, I’ve been dealing with a progressive issue with one of my feet for about 9 years. By the end of every day, my foot would be so swollen & extremely painful. I bought expensive customized orthotic inserts which ended up having little positive effect on my foot. I haven’t been able to wear anything comfortably except sneakers. All my cute shoes were a thing of the past. Fast forward 11 weeks. I have absolutely ZERO pain in my foot. None. At all. I’m wearing shoes I haven’t worn in a very long time. I can easily work a 12 day, mostly on my feet and I’m pain feee. This has been nothing short of a miracle. Finally, it is helping an injury I recently had to my back & neck. My neck isn’t pain free but it is helping & improving. The collagen has been a complete game changer for me. I don’t miss my daily intake. I started with one serving a day & am now up to two. For me, there is no taste (even if it did, I’d deal with based on the benefits I’m receiving). When I make it, I took the advise on another review & I use a fork to mix it as the hot water is being poured into the cup. The small clumps dissolve, no big deal. I also mix in powder vitamin C. I obviously can’t speak for any else’s experience but I can say this stuff has been a life changer for me.

I been taking MCP for about 4mo now. My hair has improved dramatically, my nails and skin have improved as well. I haven’t noticed too much as far as joint pain goes tho...some days are better than others. This is my first month with this brand however. So i will attempt to compare this one to my previous brand; i had to find a new vendor because my old one is on backorder with no date for new supply. -smoother texture and smaller granules. This one is like a sand, my other one was almost scaley. -similar taste: tastes like “unflavored” gelatin -blends well with OJ (my go to for mixing), but not as well as the other brand. It still blends, just with slightly more effort. -hair and skin continue to see positive results -pricing is better compared to my other brand. —all in all a good product and good value as far as pricing. When u start taking this product, you a suggested (by scientific studies) to double the amount of the therapeutic daily dose for 2-4wks. Following that period you will go to the manufacturers recommended daily dosing for maintenance. ***update: this is not my favorite brand of MCPs. It doesn’t blend well at all. I thought i could tolerate it but i can’t anymore. I will finish this canister but then my search continues. I also have noticed the benefits i was feeling from my previous brand have slowly dissipated. My skin isn’t as soft as it was and my flushed redness is back (not as severe but it’s back). It may work for u, but for my body chemistry this just isn’t the one :(

I put it in my coffee this morning and it was delicious! Although it didn't stir very well, I think it would have if I could handle really HOT coffee. Very pleased with this product. Of course since this is the 1st day I can't say anything about the health benefits.
