I don’t review a lot of stuff but I bought this fully expecting to be disappointed and from the first use, this buffer has knocked my socks off. I don’t know about the cream yet but this is for sure the best nail buffer I have tried in years (and there have been MANY). The level of shine was brilliant in every sense of the word and, in my opinion, was worth every penny. I’ll be putting this product on subscription. Along side Nails Inc’s gel rehab and seche vite’s quick drying top coat, this product is an essential in my natural nail kit.

This was bought after some research to revive and strengthen my natural nails whilst taking a break from my regular shellac manicures. I was sceptical at first, but have to say it worked a treat. You do have to be consistent though, following the programme as outlined every day (I also applied the oil morning and at bedtime) - highly recommend.

I bought this to improve my nails. If you're looking for a gift for somebody, I think this would be a really nice thing because it comes in a lovely box and over all very nicely presented. I have been using the buffer and file to keep my nails tidy and then the nail oil and cuticle cream. But after many many weeks I am disappointed that I don't have more strength in my nails. They look much nicer but I keep having them bend back. It may be that I'm just deficient in vitamins or something? I also bought this for my mum who has very hard nails and she loves that it's something that she can do. That's quite relaxing of an evening in front of the TV and makes her feel more confident about her hands without having to go for a manicure professionally. It comes with replacement pads for the buffer which is really out for because when you're doing it on the regular following the instructions it does wear down quickly. I will definitely buy this product again and would definitely give it as a gift in the future. But only four stars because I thought the nail oil would strength for my nails and it didn't.

My nails were peeling off daily. I had a few splits too and frequent breaking. I’ve not used the product for long but already my nails are glowing. I follow up with the OPI nail envy. For a week I kept nails bare to just apply the nail cream or oil twice a day. Now I put it on before the OPI nail varnish and I re-do every third day. I no longer feel embarrassed about my nails. They are also growing nicely. The file is so gentle it makes filing and shaping enjoyable. It’s expensive for such a small amount of the nail cream but it definitely works and fast so I think it is worth it for now.

I mainly wanted the buffer, but bought this set as the cost of the buffer and cuticle cream together was virtually the same price as the set which also includes replacement buffer pads and a nail file. The buffer is brilliant! My nails are damaged from many years of wearing acrylics, and despite not wearing them now for some 4+ years they haven't fully recovered. My nails are heavily ridged and have splits along the some of the ridge lines. They are also very dry and dull. I have used other cheaper buffers in the past from time-to-time and whilst they work to a point, none are anywhere near as effective as this Onsen buffer, which is 100% better. I used the buffer for the first time yesterday and today my nails are still super smooth and shiny and look so much healthier. I appreciate my nails aren't 'cured' as such and will likely need ongoing buffing etc., but that's fine and a price I'm willing to pay. I am very impressed with the buffer and highly recommend it for nails like mine. Even if your nails are OK the buffer is worth buying just for using the shinning side! As for the cuticle cream, although my cuticles are fine, I've rubbed it into my nails as the cream says it nourishes the nail if used regularly - I'll have to wait and see on that. The cream is light, non-greasy and pretty much disappears once rubbed it, and is pleasant to use. So, overall I highly recommend this set, especially the buffer. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but it works very well!

Not much visible effect, I would say its good only for buffing the nail but it does not give you shine nails like expected

I have used buffers before, but this one is amazing the shine has lasted a whole week, the ridges have all been buffed out, meaning hard as nails polish just glides on - the nail file is the smoothest i’ve ever used - no torn or jagged bits left. O was really dubious but im so glad i gave it a go- i will only use this forward - has repaired the damage that gel nails have done to my nails - im sure if i stop using it the damaged ridges nails will be back, but this kit polishes all the that damage out.

I will continue to buy these. They put a nice shine on your nails. Much better then the rechargeable one I bought. I love this set.

I read a ton of reviews including the negative ones. I was on the fence but my nails and cuticles were such a mess, I finally ordered the kit. I had been trying a variety of products before this. None really worked. I was thinking about going to get my artificial nails back on after growing them out during the pandemic, but I tried this first. It's been 10 days. Before I get into my hands, let me tell you about my toenails. I've used the nail file and buffer on them and they look amazing after one use. I've never seen them look this great. The cuticles are smooth and it looks like I spend a lot of time taking care of them. The edges are so smooth, nothing like you get at the nail salon. Let me address the cuticle cream. It does not leave your hands feeling sticky. It dries and feels like you have the nail bed to skin "sealed". I have no desire to pick at them. It seems to seal the skin so that it won't peel giving me the urge to pull the peel off. That is a big plus for me. I would buy this just to get the cuticle cream. It's lightweight so not really a cream--more like a light weight lotion that heals. The nail file quickly gets your nails in shape. Much faster than the files I use. It also worked very well on my toenails. Quick. The buffer also works quickly. Follow the instructions on how many swipes to make. This system for the price is the best I can find. You would have to really hunt everywhere to put individual items together that were as good as this system--and it would cost much more. The bonus for me besides the healing cuticle cream is now I can do my toenails in a matter of minutes and they've never looked better. Love this system.

I love having short nails but it's nice to make them look neat as well, I was using a clear nail polish but this is so much better! My nails are smooth and shiny, they look like they have polish on them and they are also growing like crazy. I highly recommend this kit. I've only used it twice so far and my nails look so much better.
