I have a 2013 Ford Explorer Limited, and I wanted to sound proof it, it already had decent isolation, I wanted more especially after I upgraded the speakers. I used sound deadening material on the doors and rear and some parts of the floor but the doors still had some wind noise that was driving me crazy. I saw this and said what the heck, let me try it. Now, before anything, please make sure to clean the surface first. I saw a lot of reviews claiming that it doesn't stick, and I can assure you that it does if you clean and wipe the surface well.... People are just lazy! Shame of you for leaving a negative review based on the fact that you are lazy! Clean and wipe the surface, I clean with alcohol wipes, and then wiped it with a lint free rag and then put it on and it stuck very well ... The improvement was more sound deadening, no more wind noise, and no more water getting in from storms or car washes . It's more than worth it, and if you have anything left over, use it for window treatment at home, it's excellent for that as well Good luck

Wow! What a difference in the isolation of sound in the cabin. A dog was barking across the street, after I got in the car I could not hear the dog barking. Also putting the strip on took me about ten (10) minutes per door to attach. After one month of having a better seal, the adhesive is still going strong. A recommended product. Update: Nov. 04, 2023: Still going strong after three months (3). I also had about ten (10) feet left after doing my car doors, the hatch, and the hood. The car is a 2012 Suzuki SX4 Crossover. (Today's date: March 23, 2024, and the adhesive is still doing great!) Update: January 24, 2025, still going strong! No peeling and no cracking of the seal. Update: Here it is June of 2025, and still going strong.

I covered all 4 doors and my trunk pretty easily. The rubber smell is pretty strong so hopefully that goes away after some driving. Noticed that the car door and trunk shutting is a bit more muffled than usual. I will update this review once I drive and notice any difference in sound.

I liked the fact that it was easy to apply, and it is a good product, it just didn’t work for what I needed it to.

Prompt delivery of this narrow weather stripping which has quality 3M adhesive on one side. Two rolls were long enough to seal two doors on my 2016 Santa Fe Sport SUV. Easily installed it on top of the door's existing weather stripping. TIPs are 1) First clean the metal attachment areas on the door frames with alcohol on a rag (no residue); and 2) Install on a warn day (70+ deg) with enough sunshine to heat up the car/SUV body. The 3M adhesive needs some heat to dry. I ordered another 2-pack to seal the rear doors. This product did reduce window/door wind noise quite a bit.

Used in my vehicle to help alleviate road noise. Works as advertised and is very cost effective make sure to prep surface well before install for longevity of adhesive. Does seem to be holding up well with no leaks.

Unfortunately, falls far short of expectations due to its thinness and poor quality.

Length only fitted two doors with about 3ft over (Evoque ). Trick is to pull door seal towards you and run this seal behind what this does is push original seal forward. I have done this in January so not sure if adhesive will stick or not maybe better to do in a warmer climate....time will tell.
