Heinz Vegetarian Beans in Rich Tomato Sauce, 8 Oz, Pack of 24

These are so much better than Bush’s, which are cloyingly sweet. These are more tomato-y, but still with enough sweetness to taste like baked beans. I even make bean burritos with them instead of using refried beans (just for something different on occasion). Highly recommend!

My family and I have always enjoyed Heinz Vegetarian Beans and I used to be able to purchase them in a variety of area grocery stores. Over the past year, none of these same grocery stores carried the vegetarian beans. I was delighted to have found them and purchase them on Amazon. They taste wonderful and definitely are a quality product. I highly recommend them.

Can't find this brand of beans in our local stores so Amazon came to the rescue. Like the flavor of these baked beans the best of all of them.

The Heinz brand has been around for generations. I grew up on this brand and today I very much miss their potato salad which is no longer available. Just before this order I had purchased the variety in the 12 Oz can and assumed it's the same flavor in this 8 Oz can. Not so. The smaller can contains sugar and brown sugar and so I rinse them out before consumption. Otherwise this is fine food.

My wife likes to keep a few cans of these in our pantry. It is not always available at the local super market so have to reach Amazon to get them when needed. Nice that we can depend on next day delivery when it is necessary. Price is about the same as the market. Will buy again as needed.

Great beans if you like more savory flavor rather than sugary like American baked beans tend to be. Still wish they were a little bit less but overall great. The can size is perfect for a side for one without having leftovers! There might be some issues with these, the first time the cans were badly dented and needed to be thrown away. But Amazon swiftly replaced them with good cans so I'm happy.

I like the fact these are just like standard can of pork and beans only without the pork! I use these in an old baked beans recipe and it's very difficult to find them without pork! The "vegetarian" baked beans in the store have extra added ingredients so I can't use them in my recipe.

These have been a favorite since I was a kid. My mom wouldn't buy any brand other than Heinz. I have tried others but I always look for Heinz first. Kudos to anyone who knows the rest of the rhyme in my headline.
