JW Pet Dog iSqueak Ball Dog Toy, Large, (Assorted Colors)

I have a boxer/pit bull mix who weighs about 70 lbs. He's an aggressive chewer and loves to carry his ball everywhere. After a couple of dozen Kong Squeakair balls, I got tired of having to keep balls for my dog on my Subscribe n Save list. I then went through half a dozen different "almost" indestructible balls. The solid rubber are no fun to him and all the others were destroyed within the first day he had them. Until this. We have now had the LARGE (about 3.5") version for 3 days, and that makes a huge difference, along with the hollow nature of this ball. The problem with the Squeakair balls is twofold. First, I was buying the regular tennis ball size and he could put them to the back of his jaw and really go to town. Second, because they were pressurized, he would then proceed to pop them in half. This was after he carefully removed the felt cover of course. He peels them like an orange. This ball is thick heavy rubber, hollow with the squeaker and a small relief hole preventing using the internal pressure to burst the ball. It bounces fairly well, and despite being a little heavy it's good for throwing. Despite his best efforts, there are very few scratches on the ball after 3 days of intense play and chewing. If there is a weak point it would be the squeaker which is inserted in the wall of the ball. He's only concentrated on it a couple of times and failed to dislodge it, but he might be able to with a concentrated effort. We'll see, and I'll update if he does. So far it's the best ball I've found. Even if he pops the squeaker out it will still be a good ball. UPDATE: Well, he finally popped the squeaker out and has chewed on the area where it came out. He's going to destroy it eventually but for now even without the squeaker he still carries it everywhere. Alas, it looks like solid rubber balls are the only thing that will last a month with him.

My German shepherds emotional support ball. Let’s be honest. If you have a working line dog like I do and they are ball motivated, then you will end up with numerous balls around your house. I was looking for one he couldn’t chew up and shred within minutes. This was it. It’s large so he can’t just swallow it. It’s well made and sturdy and my dog absolutely loves it. He literally walks around with it 24/7. Sleeps with it. The whole 9. Now the squeaker is LOUD so the moment I buy another (because we can never have too many) I immediately cut the squeaker out with a knife so I don’t have to listen to it . Get this balm for your pups

My dogs are obsessed and can not get enough of these balls! Not great if you have a dog that likes to shred things, but my dogs do not

This is our second ball in 2 years. Our golden got the squeaker out of the first one and we let him keep the ball without the squeaker and he has loved, chewed and carried it around without the squeaker for 2 years. Finally the rubber started to age and wear so we replaced it and he is very happy with a new one. The squeaker is still in the new one. New the ball is firm but is does soften with time and play. Great longevity. Love that he cant rip it or shred it as he has done that to other balls. This one is golden.

I had to upgrade this from 3 to 4 stars. Yes, my dogs break the squeaker within the first 10 minutes, but they continue to play with it for the next month with no squeak. It gets bite marks and damaged but they are actually kinda gentle with it after the squeaker is gone. I eventually have to throw them away after about a month. I have bought 2 more since my first order because they love the ball so much. The price is good considering it lasts about a month, toys normally don't last that long around here. These are nice balls, but did not last long with my German shepherds. They loved playing catch and were very happy squeaking again and again, but my dogs bit it too hard and punctured it on the first day.

Is it to much to ask for a ball that lasts more than 5 minutes? With in 5 minutes, the squeaker was rattling around inside the ball. Within 10 minutes the ball is coming apart. Can anyone make a ball that squeaks that a Lab can not destroy? It would be different if these things were 99 cents. But when you are paying 5, 10 and even more for a dog ball, I expect more than 15 minutes of play before a choking hazard has been created and her new obsession has to be taken away from her. "This is for your own good" just doesn't seem to work on puppers.

I have purchased hundreds and hundreds of dollars of these balls. From Chewy and also from Amazon and also from pet stores when i could find them. The trouble with them is the squeaky toy will and does come out. I had to bring one of our dogs..to vet...as it was stuck but thankfully they got it out before our dog suffocated...was very very scary. So i stay on top of this before this can happen..but folks please, know it usually will happen. the whistle ...will become loose. anyway...so you may ask why still purchase these... well i will explain_ our dogs ONLY love this toy. they are not too easy to chew_ just issue with the whistle coming loose. the ball is not too hard to konk them out or knock out their teeth.... and they love the squeak.. Perhaps the Toy Engineers can see a better way to make the toy so the little whistle does not come loose. My dogs are my best friends and family.... and I love them more then words could ever try to express...so it is crucial we find the right toys...food...etc..when it comes to them. ALSO- one other thing. I order and order...and ask for the GREEN ball. i even now selected the GREEN ball on amazon and ordered 3 or 4 of them. They all came back RED. ugh. dogs simply do not like any other color but green! The problem with colors other then Green is they simply do not like them. PLEASE_ are you able to make GREEN balls...and if a person asks send them the GREEN. we have over 20 of the balls here but they seem to be all blue and red. the two green ones we have from years back...are needing to be tossed in the bin soon. thank you. dk They only want the GREEN. who says dogs are color blind! eh
