The quality of these stones are excellent and just the right size to sharpen any knife. The only thing that keep me froze in place longer and then this set of whetstones is staring out my blinds, looking for the treeple or the ATF, but that’s not nearly as enjoyable. The quality of the stones is immaculate the bamboo tray for slip resistance that they get placed in. It’s like it was measured by the finest carpenters since Jesus they get the job done great and just the right speed therapeutic as actual therapy is the sound of high grade steel scratching along those stones. It will bring me peace until I’m called up to the river sticks or the pearly gates to meet my maker and best believe I’ll be having one of those dream reach machetes on me when I get there cause that’s the only thing they could cut a God made in this mortal plane

I bought this set so I’d have a sharpening system I could leave at my GF’s place where I do a lot of woodworking related honey do tasks. It seems the grading system doesn’t correspond directly to typical grits but it does follow its own logic. The leather razor strop is merely decorative, the Kevlar gloves are for small hands, but the plane blade honing guide works well, the knife guide works well, and the stones are a decent size. One odd thing is that the stones give off a strange odor during use, but they cut well. They wear a bit quicker than King water stones but are fast cutting. Because of their low price point these would be great for shaping into custom profiles to sharpen in-cannel gouges, for example, using a ceramic tile rasp. All in all a great value for the money.

Works awesome! stones are nice and flat with great quality. You can use the angle holder or free hand to your own liking. instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I took one of our cheapest dullest knives and within minutes turned it into the sharpest knife in the house. feels nice and durable and comes with a leveling stone.

Bambu taban ve silikon kalıplar sayesinde taşlar oldukça sağlam bir şekilde tezgaha sabitleniyor. Profesyonel mutfaktaki tüm satırlar ve bıçakları (aşağı yukarı 30 kadar bıçak. Zwilling, Global gibi sert bıçaklar ile 2 kemik satırı, 2 soğan satırı, geri kalanlar Pirge, Sürbisa gibi nispeten yumuşak bıçaklar ) biledikten sonra taşlardaki tüketim aşağı yukarı 3-5mm oldu. Düzeltme taşıyla düzeltilebilir ancak şu an için problem teşkil etmiyor. Daha önce kullandığım pahalı taşlara nispeten bu üründen çok memnun kaldım. Elmas masat ve/veya güzel bir honlama masatınız da varsa bıçak bileyici arkadaşınıza çay içmeye uğrarsanız :)

Ein ausgezeichnetes, hochwertiges Produkt. Ich bin mit dem Schleifresultat sehr zufrieden. Endlich einmal ein Schleifgerät das funktioniert und das Messer nicht kaputt macht, wie all die Durchzieh-Geräte. Auf Youtube gibt es gute Anleitungen, wie man ein Messer mit dem Schleifstein richtig schleift. PS: Der Winkelhalter ist Gold wert.
