This product will fit a 4.5in drain well. It isn't perfect, but I have not had issues with it moving or popping out much. Of course you can make it pop out or move if you step on it a lot and kick it. But it stays in pretty well and it definitely catches hair! I bought this after I started brushing my hair out in the shower b/c I knew there would be more hair. I was certainly right and this drain catcher makes it easy to clean out.

It fits right in the my shower pan, it is beautifully designed and it helps trapped hairs without affecting water drainage flow.

This drain cover sits perfectly in the small recess of my drain. Very happy with the quality and easy placement and removal for cleaning. Does exactly what you'd hope - caught the hair that would normally have just gone down the drain.

Catches half the hair and the rest goes through to the drain. Better than nothing, but could be better. Water flows easily through the holes (if drain isnt clogged). Sturdy, but seal isnt great. Just kinda sits there rather than being suctioned to the tub.

This drain cover hair catcher appears to work. I used it for the first time while shaving and it caught the hair. I can’t speak to the longevity of the product, but I can say they the only attachment to the drain is the rubberized ring. This works for me as I have a shower that has a drain cover. It don’t know how this would work on a shower without the cover. As for those with a tub, I see it working when taking a shower, but I doubt it is heavy enough or stable enough to stay in place if you wanted to take a bath.

Excellent product for what I need! Fits perfectly, stays in place, but I can easily remove it for cleaning. Great value for the price.
