These look great but are a bit bigger than a pen. I like them and gave one as a gift. For the record, I have not tested them so I can't vouch for the effectiveness but I can say, having this device certainly makes me feel more comfortable. It's very important to 'practice' using this before you actually need it so you're comfortable with the proper technique and you have it solidly in your mind.

Got for my daughter. People are crazy an one can never be too careful. Obvious had to test it out so gave my self a zap and it packs a punch.

I bought one for myself, daughter & granddaughter. They have to walk across the dark parking lot after night shift at hospital & not allowed to carry a gun, so this is great for them. I'm a senior & keep one by the front door in case it's ever needed. Have told friends about them and suggested they get one also.

I’m having trouble finding someone to let me try it out on, no takers but it sounds mighty bad & everyone backs away. I have one in side pocket of car & one next to front door. I wear on my shirt like it’s a pen
