Okay, so I just got off a crazy long flight, like thirteen hours! Honestly, my neck usually kills me on those things, but this little gadget was a lifesaver. It's super comfy and actually kept my head supported the whole time, no pain at all! Plus, it folds up super small, so it's perfect for travel.

I love these products, they've helped so much for my neck and shoulder to recover from an old injury. The shape and firmness of the product works perfectly for me. It's held up really well with frequent use too.

Have neck pain due to a myriad of reasons. My biggest issue is the position of my neck while sleeping and being a person that does not move at all while asleep, if I got and stayed in a bad position, the next day was not pleasant. I was using a traditional collar while sleeping but it was too bulky. Tried others, but too rigid. This one is sleek, soft and has just the right amount of support. I also do several types of exercises to help with my neck and shoulder muscles which aggravate my issue. But I've seen a good amount of improvement overall. Also use this when I notice I'm looking down too much while doing my thing during the day, another habit I need yo correct.

I tried this thing for months without any luck. I followed the sizing guidelines, but the brace is extremely uncomfortable for me. It feels too tight and large in the wrong places. I bought this primarily for sleeping and it gives me a “choking” sensation when I lie down. For others this may fit better. The foam is too stiff for me, though.

I now have four of these - two Granite/Black and one each of the other two colors, I bought my first one several years ago from an in-flight catalog; the other three are recent purchases from Amazon. I have had some neck problems since a traffic accident nearly 20 years ago, which have become worse over the last five years even with fusion of three vertebrae. The Caldera Releaf collar is Not A Medical Device, but they have given me more comfort than any of the medical device foam collars I have had over those years. It is an actual engineered product (not just a block of foam wrapped in scratchy fabric and approved by the regulatory agencies.) The Releaf collar is designed for sleeping primarily while seated or reclining, such as on an airplane flight. (That is why I bought that first one several years ago.) The collar is fairly stiff in the vertical direction, in order to support your head comfortably when sleeping in those positions. I works wonderfully for that purpose. I have found that it also provides comfort during activities such as driving, working at a desk, reading or similar activities. I have found that it is uncomfortable to wear when exercising or laboring (it gets very hot and sweaty) or while lying down (it presses on the side of my neck too much when I sleep on my side.) The hook-and-loop fastener has about five inches (127 mm) of range. Worn correctly, so you can slip two fingers between the collar and your neck, it should not restrict breathing PROVIDED you have the correct size. (For example, I wear a US 18-inch neck size dress shirt and a Medium is too tight for me.) I find this to be very comfortable when used as intended, much more comfortable than the medical device collars. It is also less bulky than the medical devices. I clean these in the normal cold or warm water laundry (no chlorine bleach, and With the hook-and-loop fastener closed!) and air-dry them. I highly recommend them for anyone who needs head support while flying or driving, and for certain other activities.

Item is not returnable anymore so be sure before you purchase! I bought it to try and see if it would be good for flights instead of the big bulky neck pillows. This has the slight padding in the front but just the strap closure in the back no padding/support. This did not fit my neck comfortably and I think in general it’s a bit too large for me. I could’ve sworn it was eligible for return when I bought it but unfortunately that is no longer the case. If I had bigger and longer neck it might work in keeping it from moving.

Works very well, very comfortable

I was hoping this would be a good, packable option for a neck support for a plane/travel. It won't be coming with me. It is like a thin-ish foam inside. It will hold up some of the weight of your head but I'd you truly lean your head into it or does fold over and give you no support. I have tmjd/jaw issues, and the way this sits against the jaw is a big no for me. Causes me to clenth my jaw more with how it pushes against the bottom of your jaw/face. I really wanted to love this, but I don't. Will gift this to someone or repurpose or somehow. The size is fine, and it would back away alright. The cost is ok, I wish I worked for me. Sleep quality is a no from me, I could never sleep using this. Would be easy to wipe clean, it won't get enough use from me to need to clean it. Don't like the performance at all. It would be good for using at home for a little extra neck support. It's just not going to work as a support for sleep/travel for me.

Bought to help recover after a neck muscle injury. Comfortable and offers a lot of support.

Ho provato tanti cuscini per il collo durante i miei viaggi, ma non sono mai stata soddisfatta. Ho il collo sottile e forse leggermente più lungo della media e la maggior parte dei cuscini sono troppo larghi e non abbastanza spessi per sostenerlo bene. Ero alla ricerca di qualcosa di poco ingombrante e che assolvesse la sua funzione. Finalmente credo di averlo trovato: testato su un volo di più di 12 ore, ha decisamente aiutato.

Excellent neck collar product. After just a few days my neck arthritis has started to dissipate already. Very comfortable. I use it along with an inflatable neck collar. This is more to ensure your neck posture does not worsen. Would also use this on a plane to keep good neck position. Less dorky than the usual plane pillows. Likely will not correct any issues already in place but excellent for gently posture alignment.

I ordered it based on a friend's recommendation, and we regularly use it for our flights. It has become our go-to gift for fellow frequent flyer friends. I'm now placing my third order.
