Intermediate assembly.
Not the easiest to assemble. I've seen some videos of their unit which they assembled and they were not sturdy. Take those videos with a grain of salt. Not everyone is smart enough to assemble this. You need to be handy. Mine is very stable. It comes with a bracket for attaching it to the wall to prevent it from falling over. I strongly recommend that, however I didn't attach it to mine. The board itself is fun and works great. You should change your dart tips often so the darts stick well. It looks great and is a perfect addition to my man cave.

Great board
We ordered this for Christmas for our kids. Assembly was pretty straightforward. A few of the holes were not quite in the right spot, but they weren't a big deal to make new ones. Took about 90 minutes for assembly. There are a couple points where having a second set of hands is a must. The dart board works really well. Responsive, good selection of games, and the darts that come with it are pretty good quality. This isn't going to be as nice as the dart boards you play on at a bar, but for a home, its perfect. I would suggest adding a light to the top of the board as it is a little dark. It has a ton of storage! FYI - it is a little top heavy, so using the anchor (included) to secure to the wall is a good idea, but not a must. Would definitely buy it again.

Watch what you buy
Did not receive any hardware! It sucks when you buy a gift and excited to play and then your emotions go down because now you have to wait for the hardware to come in…. Ugh!!!

Highly recommended, but read my tips...
I can't in good conscience give this a 5 start rating, but I'd say it is pretty close. I read most of the reviews on this product and I admit, I was skeptical. I decided, better this than a $3000 bar style arcade dartboard machine! Overall, you get what you pay for here folks. I am not super satisfied, but I am happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it. Read on... Let's start with the GOOD: - They seem to have updated the packaging and it did get to me in one piece, except for a crack on the inner moulding for the cabinet which I found to be acceptable. - It's actually very easy to put together (contrary to many reviews), but you do need to know that the assembly manual is in a link on the Amazon page, NOT in the box. - It looks nice! - Spacious interior. The BAD: - It is definitely flimsy. I plan to reinforce it myself and once you fasten it to the wall as instructed, I am sure it will be solid. - We had to unscrew the entire backing after assembly because of how flimsy it is, it was a bit cockeyed which made the cabinet door not line up right. It's definitely cheaply made. My tips are: - Plan to reinforce it and make sure to fasten it to the wall. - Possibly put some rubber-feet on the wall-side of the cabinet. - Be sure to download the manual on the Amazon listing. - Remember to put/hang the dartboard in BEFORE you put the outer lining (I missed the instruction, my bad). - Lastly, be sure to check that the door is all lined up before you fasten the entire backing.

It's a lot of fun to play and we haven't had any issues after ...
Based on game play and overall appearance once the thing is fully assembled, I'd give this 4 or 5 stars. It's a lot of fun to play and we haven't had any issues after about 20 hours of play so far. It also looks pretty nice - as in the pictures. HOWEVER, I can't give it more than 3 stars based on the significant hassles with the delivery process, and getting all the right parts. When the box was initially delivered by FedEx, it was pretty beat up and looked like it had been re-taped multiple times. The delivery guy gave me the option of not accepting the delivery and blaming it on FedEx, but I could see that there was plenty of styrofoam packed in the box to support everything so I decided to take my chances - especially since I wanted to get it put together in time for Christmas. It turned out that none of the pieces were "broken" (good), but all of the larger wood pieces were warped (very bad). I called the customer service number on the assembly instructions and the guy was extremely helpful and nice and agreed to send replacement parts. They took about 5 days to arrive and once they did, it turned out that the two main side pieces of the cabinet were the wrong ones. I only discovered this once I was about 80% of the way through the assembly process. AARGH! (Speaking of the assembly process, yeah, it's a pain and yeah, the instructions are written in broken English, and yeah, it takes a long time, but in my experience, it's pretty much like that with all of this kind of self-assembly stuff. It's why you pay 20% or so less than you would if you bought an assembled one at Dick's.) I called customer service again and again, the guy was extremely friendly and helpful and assured me that he would personally walk to the warehouse and make sure they sent the correct replacement parts this time. He also rushed the delivery so I had them in 3 days. The third time was the charm, and I finished the assembly and it came out fine - albeit about a week late for Christmas. Notwithstanding some other comments about stability, it seems pretty stable to me, though I'd keep little kids from bumping into it. It is kind of top-heavy, and securing it to a wall is certainly a good idea. (I haven't done that myself.) So, the thing is reasonably though not completely stable, a lot of fun to play (there's a ton of different games and variations), difficult to assemble, and potentially a total pain (like I experienced) in getting all the right parts.
