Longevity and tone
I've been using D'Addario nickel-coated electric guitar strings for several months now, and they've become my go-to choice for both rehearsals and live performances. Tone & Feel: These strings offer a bright, articulate tone with a slight midrange boost, making solos and riffs stand out in the mix. The nickel coating provides a smooth feel under the fingers, facilitating easy bends and slides without sacrificing grip. Durability: One of the standout features is their longevity. The nickel coating resists corrosion effectively, even with frequent playing and exposure to varying environments. I've noticed they retain their tone and playability longer than some other brands I've tried. Tuning Stability: Tuning stability has been impressive. Once stretched properly, these strings hold their pitch well, reducing the need for constant retuning during gigs. Value: Considering their performance and durability, these strings offer excellent value. They're priced competitively and deliver consistent quality, making them a reliable choice for regular use. Final Thoughts: D'Addario nickel-coated electric guitar strings strike a great balance between tone, feel, and durability. Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional musician, these strings are worth considering for your setup.

Quality strings
I love these strings very smooth to play & no tuning issues. They are more expensive than other brands but for me they are worth the cost. I only play at home so they last me forever.

Better than Elixirs
Best strings on the market currently in my opinion. Last about 6 months before the intonation starts going in my experience, whereas the coating is good enough that the strings still *feel* fresh (this is with multiple hours of playing/gigging 5-7 days a week). Triple the price of Ernie Ball's, but they last SO much longer. Definitely worthwhile.

Exceptional strength and longevity
I used to buy XL120's (009s), but I sweat a LOT and can destroy a set of normal strings in a single gig. These strings are over twice the price of the standard ones, however, thye can withstand my abuse, not just for a gig, but for a couple of months, without tarnishing or breaking. The superior strength really pays when playing an electro acoustic, I had a habit of regularly snapping the D string, that doesn't tend to happen with these. Even when swapping out strings on my gigging guitar, the strings are still in good enough condition to put on a secondary guitar. The coating means less strings noise, easier to play and remain cleaner for longer. Not cheap, but with the XS, you really do get what you pay for, as a gigging musician, I wouldn't use anything else now.

Seem OK but not the cheapest (11-49)
I bought these to fit to an electro-acoustic hybrid, replacing the recommended Elixir Nanowebs. These are sold as electric strings, so I was expecting to pay a price when the guitar is unplugged and - sure enough - they're pretty dull played just as an acoustic. However I fitted them because, plugged in with the body sensor pickup engaged, the Nanowebs are way too bright and the string squeak on the wounds is unbearable. These are definitely better in that respect, both quieter and smoother to play with a much more realistic acoustic sound from the body sensor. They snap in and hold tune really well once fitted and gently stretched, and are also easier to bend than the Elixir 11-49s they replaced. We'll have to see how they last compared to coated strings. In summary, I'd recommend trying these on a hybrid (I'm sure they work well on a solid body). I'm not a huge fan of the way they're packaged (I prefer my strings separated) but the Players Circle points and promotions are a neat touch.

Great strings for Les Pauls
These strings are great for Les Paul shaped guitars. With the strings having 11s at the bottom is great for grunty sound you get from a Les Paul. Then having the regular top strings are good for tapping and pitch bends in my opinion. They should last over a year as they are very thinly coated, and they a nice slippy feel ideal for shredding.
