Works well. Durable. Maintains heat for 30 min. Moist heat is not recommended for longer than 30 min intervals. Well made.

I've tried all kinds of heating pad products, but always go back to the basic hydrocollator. The "hot water" method provides moist heat, which is way better than dry heat. More effort to use, but well worth it.

So I am a retired Chiropractor and have used hydrocollator packs in my practice for decades. I bought this for my GF to treat her ankle. I was surprised to see how little product was in the pack. The sand retains the heat and there was so little that it cooled in a couple of minutes and is useless as a therapeutic product. Chattanooga was always the best brand but if you look at the other brands, you can see how thick they look compared to the Chattanoogas. I would try the other brands.

I have had the same Hot Pac for twenty years. Just bought one for my son and it is the same high quality product I expected. Great product for a great price! Buy it!!

Great quality, great price, these are microwavable which makes them easier to use, but still messy with water drips and all.
