This is not essential oil! I have no idea what it is....
This is much thinner than an essential oil - some say its vegetable oil - it has almost no scent to speak of either. Can't imagine where all the good reviews come from! i would say this is a complete fraud. Certainly i will never buy from this manufacturer again - I would suggest you dont either.

Definitely NOT pure essential oil
As a certified aromatherapist, I typically use reputable brands for essential oils but I thought I would try this brand to see if it was really legit. I used the same amount of drops in my carrier oil and the fragrance was negligible at best. I had one of my students trying it out so it wasn't until I picked up the bottle that I noticed the liquid was quite viscous. Its not as "thin" and watery as a true E.O. It is definitely adulterated with some type of carrier oil, otherwise it wouldn't be so thick. There is nothing wrong with selling more expensive essential oils like jasmine or rose in a jojoba oil base as long as you CLEARLY state that on the label. This oil claims to be 100% pure which it is not. If you are using it for non-therapeutic purposes it will work for you if you just double the dosage but for me, I wont be buying this brand again!

Poor quality oil - definitely not for diffusers.
This oil is thick and oily, and the cinnamon smell is not potent as it should be. I use a lot of essential oils, and they should not be this thick. As another reviewer mentioned, it's like someone soaked cinnamon bark in canola oil.I purchased this to make blends and use in a diffuser, and after seeing the consistency, I wasn't happy. The dropper is also a joke. It cracked at the seam after three uses, and wouldn't pick up anything, which means you are required to pour the oil instead of measuring by drops.I decided to try it anyway. What a mistake! When I first added a few drops to the diffuser, it didn't seem unusual, but definitely weak and not what I was looking for. After awhile, I began to notice this weird, pungent, off smell like something had gone bad. I thought my diffuser was going out. I cleaned it and tried a different oil. No weird smell, even after all of the water had been diffused. To make sure, I tried the cinnamon oil again. In a little while the foul smell returned. Definitely the oil! None of my other oils do this, but I don't own any others from this company.I guess that's what happens when you try to save a bit of money, you get an inferior oil.UPDATE: The company's customer service is really great. They reached out to me to offer to replace the product. The company seems to really care about their customers. Although I chose not to take them up on the offer, the effort and gesture was very much appreciated. My review, however, is for this particular product, not the company. Perhaps they have other oils that are of better quality.

Very impressed for the overall quality
It's nearly impossible to find a good vanilla EO and not pay the price for the real, top quality. But of the many I have tried, this is awesome. The out of the bottle aroma is similar to a sugar cookie. But since it's an EO, it's quickly absorbed into the skin, mixing with one's own pheromones, and that dissipates, leaving a very light, pleasant, perfume. Here's a secret: true Vanilla (not synthetic) naturally attracts men to females - the olfactory senses respond on a reptilian level. I've been chased into crosswalks from men asking me what perfume I was wearing so they could get it for their wives. It never gets old. (female to female: cinnamon EO, female to male: sandalwood-musk EO, male to male, vanilla sandalwood)

Rip Off. Don't be bamboozled.. Keep your money.
Rip Off. Dont be bamboozled.. Keep your money!I feel very decieved from the online posted advertisement for this product. Not only was half the product spilled when the package arrived but I was hoping this product was 100% pure essential oil, but its not. There is nothing on the product packaging indicating that this product is in deed 100% pure Clary Sage essential oil. The product itself is very oily as if it has already been diluted with a carrier oil. I performed the newspaper test along with Now Brands' version. This brand, Sun Essential Oils, left a large heavy oil spot on the newspaper after being left to dry for several hours. The frangrance is nice but not as strong or long lasting as the Now Foods brand version. Im not sure of the therapuetic/medicinal properties of this oil since Im afraid to use it after not noticing any benefit or smell after diffusing the oil. The scent is very weak and may be a synthetic frangrance oil. Because of this and the aforementioned reasons, Im afraid to put the product on my skin, which was the intended purpose of my purchase. The advertisement speaks of this product being pure high grade essential oil; however, the latin name; the sourcing method; nor is the part of the plant where the oil is sourced are not listed on the bottle lable. Additionally; the method by which the oil was extracted is also not listed on the label anywhere. The label just says the ingredient(s) are "Clary Sage oil." The only reference on the product bottle/label denoting essential oil is the company's name "Sun Essential Oils." I am so weary of these false advertising tactics of some of these less reputable companies who are stealing our money and lauging all way to bank. Im heavily considering contacting the FDA and filing a complaint. Don't fall into the trap like I did...I should've known better that this deal was too good to be true. The only reason I rated one (1) star is because I couldn't post a review without at least rating the product. It deserves no stars and I want to caution you all. Sincerely....
