I highly recommend these solar flood lights. I’ve bought this same model four times, and the quality has been consistently excellent. As a reference, I installed one of them back in 2022, and now in 2026 it is still working perfectly bright, reliable, and completely worry-free. The brightness is incredible for a solar light. It truly lights up a large area like daytime, and the battery lasts throughout the night. The aluminum housing feels durable, and the IP67 waterproof rating has held up through heavy rain and storms with no issues. Installation is simple, and I really appreciate the two flexible solar panels and long cable, which make it easy to place the panels where they get the most sun. The dusk-to-dawn feature works flawlessly, and the remote control settings are very convenient. Overall, this is one of the best solar flood lights I’ve ever used long-lasting, super bright, and absolutely worth the price. I’ll continue buying more as needed. Highly recommended!

I bought this made in China light because, from the product descriptions on Amazon, it looked like the brightest light available at a moderate price. It also had a lot of good weather resistance reviews. The light and 2 solar panels comes with concrete bolts and pole clamps, and it was easy to install high on my wood shingled house using only a drill and wood screws. The 2 solar panels must be installed within a couple of feet of each other because their cable connections are short. However, both panels then join a 9 foot cable, so they can be installed a long way from the light, allowing you to place the light in a shaded area, if you wish. The three mounting brackets are screwed to the house, but allow changing the angles of the light and each panel in only one dimension, by using wing nuts. You need to estimate the best bracket orientation for each installation first, before you drill! The battery was fully charged on arrival and everything worked. All parts were present, and packing was sufficient to protect everything. I was shocked at how much light this setup emits. (See photos). I’m using this to illuminate a large dog run, and it works great! Within about 30 feet, it’s very bright, but even 100 ft away, there is enough light to be able to see adequately-more light than at full moon. My only concern is the three brackets. Their steel is thin enough to be easily bent. We’ll have to see how they hold up in gale force winds that we get several times a year. If there are problems, I will post an addendum. October: several strong rains and one tropical storm since installation, and no problem so far. January: 2 more good storms and still working. The short days are reducing the light duration to only a few hours each night. We had a 2 wk. period of snow followed by daily freeze/thaw, and no electrical issues. March: more storms with driving rain and over 60 mph winds and still working. Longer sunlight is making the light last past midnight now. The brackets have not bent, while our trees have lost some 4 inch limbs, and a 6 ft. high transplanted tree blew over.

The product works very well and as advertised. However, in my case the screws on front of the light rusted and the rust will run down and stain the unit. Also, the rusted screws my compromise the unit's integrity. I suggest you apply rust-proof paint on the screws.

Had it 6 months and it is still great. Lasts all night in the horse barn.

i was expecting it to be bright enough to use as a drive way light. Works great as an entry light to the house just fine.
