The softgels are easy to swallow, completely odorless, and have no fishy aftertaste at all, which makes them much more pleasant compared to other brands I’ve tried. I really appreciate that each serving provides a high dose of Omega-3s, especially EPA and DHA, which are essential for heart health. What's most impressive about these enteric coated soft gels is that you use less and save more. Better than that, you get Twice the Potency compared to most other fish oil products out there on the market. The only way to compare price is by comparing the serving size. Some fish oil products will offer 120 soft gels or 180 at the same price here but you have to take 3 or even 4 soft gels per dosage to get the same equivalent. Many of them also are not coated soft gels, which in this case it really does reduce or eliminate those annoying fish burps. Granted the pills are HUGE as compared to a standard vitamin D3 soft gel, which my doctor recommends you take in conjunction with fish oil for faster absorption into the bloodstream. (SEE PIC) The downside to this purchase like all other fish oil products is that although they're Made in the USA other ingredients are SOURCED from other places from around the world. My understanding is that Nature's Bounty fish oil, according to their website, comes from fisheries in Peru. I didn't know that Peru was specifically sought out by Nature's Bounty as their exclusive source for fish oil. The Marine Research Institute (IMARPE), a HIGHLY recognized world-class authority, works with the Peruvian government to manage the controls of fish stock along their waterways. Smaller boats are used exclusively in the fishery process which proves more effective and most importantly, no facility is allowed to receive fish from vessels without a valid fishery license. All catches in Peru are carefully reviewed to meet RIGOROUS QUALITY CHECKS. As much as I would prefer fish sourced from the US or Canada exclusively, I realize that isn't always going to be a realistic expectation. Peru appears to be at least for now, a more SAFER alternative. I also typically try to order my fish oil by mail during cooler months as I realize prolonged exposure to heat in transit can also degrade the potency of any fish oil product. However, this deal offered at Amazon was simply too good to pass up. The expiration date of my bottle shows 10/23. (SEE PIC) Not bad as I've ordered vitamins in the past and been very unhappy with much shorter expiration dates.. I read online here that some reviewers prefer pharmaceutical grade fish oil exclusively. However, that term is not an official FDA term nor an official medical term when applied to the sale of fish oil products in the US. However, the price on such fish oil is multiplied by 100 as compared to what I paid here today. Personally, I'd rather trust Nature's Bounty which I've been using for over 10 years to continue to get the job done. They haven't disappointed me yet. Trust me friends. I did the research. Honestly, you wont be disappointed.

Using this for years and it definitely shows LDL and HDL in blood results in excellent ranges. I was taking 3 a day but my blood got so thin, i now take 2 a day.

I started taking these fish oil pills after experiencing dry eyes. My optometrist recommended adding them, along with flaxseed oil, to my diet to see if it would help. The pills are large, but thanks to the gel coating, they’re easy to swallow. I take them in the morning with a glass of water along with other vitamins, and I haven’t had any issues with stomach upset or a strange aftertaste. Now, after taking them daily for two years, I can say my eyes feel much less dry and itchy.
