Highly recommend for 7+ who like to make movies. This is the easiest set up and the customer service is excellent (the app wasn’t in the App Store for a while but they got it sorted same day). The app is ridiculously easy to use and has many easy to follow tutorials. Bought for 8 year old who started using it straight out of the box.

This is a good product for small action figures and a great way to get started with stop-motion animation. It’s very basic, which I actually appreciate, because it makes learning much easier for beginners. I haven’t used the free app yet, but the product I received did include a 10% discount coupon for purchases of $50 or more. I haven’t filmed anything yet, but I’ve been practicing with the StickBots, and they’re excellent for stop motion. They’re highly articulated, have suction cups, and stick to almost anything, which makes them very fun and easy to work with. My only complaint is the price. At $30, I think it’s too expensive for what it is. Even $20 would feel high to me; around $15 would make more sense. I’ve seen reviews saying this could be made at home, which is true, and I probably could have made something similar myself. However, I doubt I would have had the motivation or energy to do so. As someone who is neurodivergent, having a ready-made kit like this makes it much easier to start a new interest. Because of that, I think this product is not only good for children but also for adults with autism who benefit from structured, accessible tools. Overall, it’s a well-designed product.

Just as listed. Easy to setup even for a 10yr old.

My son got this for Christmas and really enjoys making videos. It's been easy for him to figure out and he's able to do it on his own. I do wish it had come with some kind of carrying case because the cardboard box got destroyed quickly.

My kid loved to play with this set for his stop motion - both with included figures and with his legos. The mobile app that comes along with the set seemed more useful that other programs

Ok. Not as great as I hoped. I could’ve made a similar product at home with cardboard🤷🏻‍♀️. It’s fine. Easy to use.
