Previously I had a smaller bag until it fell apart . I then used a larger bag which was good but limited in pockets and space . I didn’t want an oversized carrying murse , nor did I prefer the expensive and a bit showy leather bag . I needed a murse that could handle the rigors of travel , not to have to be careful about scratching it or a water bottle accidentally spilling into it . Of course decent space within and zippered pockets were essential . I had seen the XINCADA men’s shoulder / travel bag on Amazon . Good description , photos , videos . Great price on Prime day . Needed a good travel bag and murse for international travel in the fall . Also desired a practical , light and nice looking bag for frequent daily use . I have found all these attributes in this bag . Just the right size , attractive yet sturdy and extremely practical. Several well made pockets with quality zippers throughout . A daily trip for walking and shopping would see me easily place a bottled water , wallet , IPhone , a few mini snacks , pens . The XINCADA bag is an all around bag , versatile, well made and comfortable on one’s shoulder when traveling afoot . Thank you XINCADA , well and honestly advertised . I purchased the smaller version of the black bag. It’s actually a little larger than I was expecting, but that’s fine. I needed something that was a little more masculine looking because I don’t carry women’s purses. But I need to be able to carry a wallet, my cell phone, glasses case, and a few other little things. This bag will do the job perfectly. There is a zippered compartment on the front flap that’s large enough for small items (I use it for quick access to chapstick and hand sanitizer). Under the flap there’s another larger zippered area that’s useful for holding a couple of pins, keys, maybe a checkbook, small notepad, or your cellphone, and other smaller items (I have a notepad, pens, AirPod case, and my travel essential oil roller stored there). The main compartment is large and there is a mesh zippered area inside. Inside the mesh area I keep a charging cord for my cell phone. The large compartment holds my wallet, glasses case, and spare change holder. But it could hold many more items. Finally, there is a padded zippered compartment on the back side of the bag. There is where I usually keep my cell phone (I have the iPhone XS Max) but it is large enough to hold a small tablet. This bag is sturdy and I feel it will last a while. I’ve had mine about a week at the writing of this review. The shoulder strap is plenty long enough for a tall person to be comfortable. I’m 5’2” and if I stretch the strap to the longest length, the bottom of the bag is almost to my knee. The bag isn’t bulky and it’s made of a durable canvas material. The zippers and strap adjuster are all metal. So far, this has been a great bag.

My initial impressions of this bag are great! It’s the perfect size for me. It holds my iPad (it’s a 9” iPad. Not one of the 11” iPad Pros.), keys, wallet, etc securely. The zippers work perfectly so far. The bag seems well constructed. Stitching doesn’t seem like it’s going to come loose right away. The canvas is nice and sturdy as well and seems like it will hold up to quite a bit. Not to mention, pockets! So. Many. Pockets! My only real concern in terms of the bag’s construction is the strap. And that concern is VERY minor. The strap is just made of cloth and I wonder how well that is going to hold up. I will also be curious to see how well the Velcro on the front holds up over time. My only real negative (also a very minor complaint) is I think I got a returned bag from Amazon that they just turned around and sold again. The leather on the handle had some scuffing and there is a very faint mark on the front of the canvas. Hard to say if it was a return or just damage from the packing process. There is also a small knot of thread on the handle that’s a little uncomfortable when I pick it up. All of this is extremely minor though. I went from a pretty flimsy canvas messenger bag (which has lasted me a decade) to this bag and I couldn’t be more pleased thusfar. It’s a great bag, especially for the price! I’ll update the review if anything changes! Update 5 Years later: This bag is still going! I had considered getting a new eon (one of the new bigger bags). The Velcro is pretty much gone (easy fix) and the pocket in the front compartment is coming off (my fault. I need to clean my wallet out) but everything else is still going strong. Zippers have held up great, and other than some dirt and grime, this thing could last another 5 years easy.

After searching for years for the perfect EDC bag, I had high hopes for this one. The size was perfect (for me), which hasn't been the case most of the time, the material spot on, even how it hung was exactly right. But sadly, there is one major flaw – the zippers. Instead of using YKK zippers that are a breeze to open, the company opted for a cheaper option thus making it more difficult to use. Yes, they work, but they're not smooth. Sigh, with better zippers this bag would have been an out of the park home run. As it is, it's a base hit, maybe a double, but nothing more. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good bag, but it could have been a GREAT bag with that one change, even if it cost considerably more, it would be worth it.

My new tablet is too big for the old cross-body bag. This lil brown bag is perfect. Lots of pockets! Looks great on me! I can carry my cell in the front, my tablet in the back, and my passport in the flat zippered area in the back.

I absolutely love this bag. I can travel just about anywhere in the world with this bag and a carry-on. It is large enough to function as an underseat bag on flights but small enough to to carry for day trips as a tourist. I was a little concerned it might fall apart given the price but it has held up for multiple trips and tons of abuse. I do not baby this bag at all and nothing has broken on it. As a matter of fact, I've used it enough the canvas has softened up and the zippers are butter smooth now. Mostly I use it for international travel as a day pack. The pocket on the back is for copies of my passport, a little cash and anything else I want to keep with me but probably won't need. The main compartment is used for guidebooks, water bottles, snacks, battery banks & cords, a disposable poncho, small flashlight, sunglasses, etc. I use the inside mesh pocket for a small first aid kit and a few medications. The other inside pocket is for small amounts of currency or transit cards for any country I'm not in. I could probably leave it but it's usually not much and it has come in handy. The pocket on the flap holds any tickets or papers for whatever I'm doing that day. It gets dumped and changed each morning. Receipts end up getting stuffed in there too. Under the flap is some organized storage for a small notepad, pens and a few charging cords. I keep a few pens, some gum and a pair of reading glasses in the side pockets. For the strap, I ran it all the way out and wear it across my body and it fits perfectly (6'0"-250 lbs)

I like the bag a lot. I wish it were just an inch taller as my Macbook Air 13inch w/cover does fit but it is tight. I would also be great with just a little padding as you don't want to throw this around with your laptop in it. Otherwise I love it. It stores more than I thought it would and looks great. The perfect alternative to a large backpack. Seems well made as well and for the price you can't go wrong.

Seems to be very good quality. Many pockets for treasures.
