Small quality tracker for motorcycle
Setup and installed quickly (I did struggle with the battery door and it broke the clip but the Monimoto chat in the app helped me and sent out new door with no charge super support) had the tracker live and set to report every couple of days and all good . I also recommended not to keep the fob with your bike key in case key is stolen and fob too “ you can delete the fob and live track if this does occur” I used a small faraday pouch which works a charm as I moved my bike once without thinking about the tracker and then my phone rang and it was the bike telling me it was being moved 😂 fantastic that’s exactly what I needed . Greta design in a small well hideable package and works well . The quality is solid and has long life batteries included and mine had a three month free trial and then it’s a one off fee fr the year to make it an affordable tracker with quality better than expected for the price and great peace of mind and security bliss.

5/5 - All good so far.
I was looking to add a final layer of security to my CBR600 and had a browse through trackers to see which one suited my needs. I was surprised you could get a tracking unit for motorcycles for as little as £20. Most of the cheaper units have an annual subscription of around £60 and for that you get a text or email if your motorbike moves. With the Monimoto 7 your annual subscription is £36 a year, after a 3 month trial, and you get a text first and then a follow up phone call within minutes of movement being detected by the tracker. I've tested it several times and it works well. The setup was reasonably straight forward once I'd paired the keyfob to my phone via Bluetooth and downloaded the accompanying app. As long as the key fob is out of range of the tracker the reaction to my motorbike even being shook, let alone moved, is a text and automated phone call within minutes followed by the GPS kicking in with live tracking if the bike keeps moving. You can adjust the sensitivity of the keyfob detection via the app which is extremely useful and allows you to know almost exactly the point where the tracker and key fob will connect with each other and go into safe mode. Another advantage of the Monimoto 7 is that it doesn't have to be wired to your bike battery which is the first place that professional thieves would look. It has its own independent batteries which should last a good long time and not be to too expensive to replace. So, the Monimoto 7 plus 3 edition seems to be an excellent buy if you want a good tracker with excellent reaction time but don't have the money for the top of the range. 5/5 after 2 weeks of use. EDIT - Still working well after the 3 month trial so I took the annual subscription at £36 a year.

Great item
I looked at this on Facebook and done a Google check to make sure it was ligit and I ended up here. I havent got a motorbike but what I do have is a brand new poptent that I'm paranoid that it'll get swipped one night. I was going to get a samsung airtag but something was putting me off so that's why I ended up buying this. Once I'd read through the instructions and downloaded the app setup was considerably easy. I have multiple pockets in the tent and found one that was made for it, so in it went. Once all set up I sent my brother off in my car with myself holding the tab that goes on your keys. Off the tracker went and called me to tell me my tracker is in motion. So as of now its doing what it should be doing.

Good but could be better
Had this for around a year, decent build quality, tracking works but is really intermittent with long update intervals (just the nature of the tracker I assume to save battery). Even in stolen/"lost mode it wasnt amazing in my experience in testing. Tracking was decent enough when updating but the initial unit is quite expensive compared to some similar competitors and it also has a subscription fee although that is similar to others so the main thing is the high up-front cost! Ive recently found a more affordable tracker with a similar subscription fee that can update much faster/frequently and is essentially live tracking and after finding that I find it hard to vouch for this given its probably about 3x its cost up-front. Also this requires batteries instead of being rechargable which is a bit of a pain but I do believe there is an updated rechargable version so thats a good improvement. Worth adding the battery life I also found was equal to or worse than my other one. The unit is not massive but again Ive found competitors to be much more compact and hidden so this is not a huge fault but it could be improved. In theory I was fairly happy with this tracker initially but truthfully its obsolete compared to the new one for me personally although I would say this still has its place to an extent. The lack of proper live-tracking was the dealbreaker for me and others come in cheaper, more compact with good geo-fencing and motion sensing etc its hard to vouch for this personally but there is one redeeming factor which might make it suitable for some users, if the bike is moving (stolen) and the fob is not detected it will alert you with a phone call which is much harder to miss/ignore than an app notification of movement for example so it has that going for it! I do think that for a lot of people makes it worthwhile but me even owning the unit and being past the initial paywall I dont see myself using it in the future as I can pay a similar subscription for more/better features for me personally. If I were to give them advice and them take it I would say lower the entry cost significantly and they would be much more competitive and viable its really quite expensive and personally I dont see how they can justify it when looking at competitors, still a decent company and it does its job moderately well. Im still going to give mine away to a friend, its not rubbish: its fit for purpose and not extortionate once you own the unit but for me (and I feel most average consumers) its not the best fit unless youre really set on the calling you feature which I can understand the appeal for.

Quad ist also wieder da. Genau so hatte ich mir das vorgestellt. Die Polizisten waren total begeistert von Monimoto. Ich auch!!! :-)
